If you are afraid of loneliness, don't marry. -Anton Chekhov

Arthur Trilby was a cordial and confident man in the banking industry but when returning home to his wife, Aubrey, it was as if he was a different person. He became the reserved and quiet husband Aubrey had always known. To her Arthur was simply a man who struggled with expressing his emotion and someone who believed his life should be kept private. Despite living in the same New York apartment their distance with each other was evident. Loneliness became a habit for Aubrey, often finding herself staring at the front door waiting for him to return home. She had converted to the women she had sworn she would never become, one dependent on her husband.

It wouldn't be long until Aubrey changed that.
