8. A Moment Of Peace

Uruha's POV~

It's been a few days since Aria finally got all of her things moved over here. She spoke with the landlord about her situation and luckily he did not charge her for property damages. I won't even leave her alone in my apartment. That guy won't leave her alone and I know once I leave her by herself, she will be vulnerable. She took her painting to that woman and was paid a large amount for it. I told her not to worry too much about the rent. She has been a little distant and I guess I understand why. I just worry about her and don't want to see her hurt again. Today I decided to take her to Takeshima St. to go walking and window shopping or shopping, which ever comes first. "Are you ready?" I ask as I open the passenger door to let her out. She smiles as she takes my hand. "What if people recognize you Kouyou?" She asked with a laugh. "I'm not here for them.......I'm here for you." I replied as I hepled her from my car. "I just figured you could use your painting money on something else. I have the rent covered so no worries" I said as she smiled up at me.

Aria's POV~

We walked down Harajuku and looked through all the neat shops. For as long as I have lived here I have never been to this place. I've always wanted to go but didn't know how to find it. "So what do you want to do first?" He said as we stood in front of the Noa Cafe'. "Hmmmm.............waffles sound really good right now" I sad with a laugh as I pointed to the Noa Cafe' sign. "Okay, waffles it is!" He said as we took my hand and we walked into the cafe'. The smell of waffles and fruit surrounded the air, making this place seem even more inviting that it already is. We were taken to a booth and handed our menus. 600 yen for waffles by themselves, but if you get fruit it is 750 yen. I finally made my decision and waved for the waitress. "Yes, I'll have two waffles with peach fruit topping and cream on the side." I said as I look up to the waitress. Kouyou put his menu down and ordered. "I will have three waffles with Apple fruit topping." He said as he hands the menu to the waitress. "What would you like to drink?" The waitress asked. "I'll have a coke" I said quickly. "Just water is fine" Kouyou said as he looked at me and smiled. It wasn't a long wait for our order and the waitress was very courteous. I had dreamed of these waffles for as long as I can remember and they exceeded my expectations. The waffles were light and fluffy, the fruit had just the right amount of tart and the cream completed the dish. I let out a sigh that sounded more like a moan as I took a bite of my waffles. I wasn't paying the people around me any mind as I enjoyed my waffles. "Oh my gawd..........I can die happy now............just damn" I said as I took another bite. Kouyou nearly choked on his waffles laughing at me. "What?" I said in surprise. I took another delicious bite and couldn't hold back my sighs. "It's just so damn good." I said as I slowly chew the waffles. He took his fork and put some cream from my plate on it and touched my nose. "There, now you are a mess" he said with a laugh. My jaw dropped as I wiped my nose. "That's not nice" I said as I stuck my tongue out at him. He laughed as we continued to eat our waffles. After we left my new favorite place to eat, we continued down the street. So many shops to visit on this narrow street, I wanted to visit them all. We passed a shop called Body Line that has Lolita Dresses on sale. They were so pretty in the display window. We passed Santa Monica Crepes shop and came to a novelty shop. "Do you want to go in?" I asked as I pointed to a colorful shop with backpack, clothes, shoes and other things. "Sure!" He said smiling. There were pikachu plushies and all kinds of things. I found a backpack purse that was baby blue with plush angel wings. After I paid for my item there was something that caught my eye. It was a jade magatama and pearl necklace. The jade was green and an excellent color. "It's so beautiful! Erm.....oh no it's too much!" I exclaimed as I sulk at the price tag. I stepped out of the shop and I thought Kouyou followed me, but when I turned around he wasn't there. I waited for a moment and started to open the door. "You ready to go?" He said softly as he opened the door. "What were you doing?" I asked as I turned around to walk down the street. "Nothing.......well. I thought I saw something I like, but I didn't" he sounded flustered as he said that. We continued on and after a while of shopping, we went to the park.
