NASCAR is back in town! A triple header is on the cards at Nashville, Trucks tonight, Xfinity tomorrow, and Cup on Sunday! After an off week, it's time to push forward in this 2023 season.
Truck predicted winner: Grant EnfingerGrant Enfinger has been under the radar in 2023. With 2 wins and 4 top 10s in the last 5 races, he's jumped up to 3rd in points, only 9 behind leader Corey Heim. Since being let go by ThorSport at the end of 2021 he and GMS Racing have been building up chemistry and speed to make a championship run like they did with Sheldon Creed in 2020 or Johnny Sauter in 2016. Enfinger has been a full-time driver in the Trucks for now his 7th season and looks to spend his career to be a champion. He came close in 2020, winning 4 races, but ultimately finished 4th, will he be playing a guitar tonight?
Xfinity predicted winner: Cole Custer
After a rough start in his first season back in Xfinity, Cole Custer might just hit a hot streak soon. Going into the 2023 season I think most everyone would have thought it would be a showdown between Custer and John Hunter Nemecheck. Nemecheck has definitely been strong all year in his JGR Toyota, Austin Hill has been the guy to consistently challenge Nemecheck in the points standings in his RCR Chevrolet. But now with added confidence after a difficult stint in Cup, we just might see the Custer of old in the Xfinity Series in his Stewart Haas Ford Mustang.
Cup predicted winner: Christopher Bell
The 20 team definitely has made improvements from the end of last year. A hot start to 2023 with a win at Bristol dirt and even lead the points for a couple races. However he has only gotten 1 top 10 in the last 5 points races. While the hype is around the young guys at Hendrick Motorsports, the Gibbs cars have been fast, especially lately. While they gain momentum, C Bell would love to get some back in his corner and get back to victory lane
