Aarya's POV:-
I looked at my reflection, the tear in the corner my eyes etched to drop, but I gulped and blinked my eyes few times to fought back the tears.
My makeup artist frowned, stopped for a moment and looked at me through mirror, while I immediately looked down to not make eye contact with her. She then without saying anything, resumed her work.
I could hear the faint sound of Shaadi (Marriage) Songs , people's chatter and laughter from outside through the closed window.
It's fascinating that other people are more happy and excited then the bride of this ceremony herself.
I want to laugh at my condition, what not I thought to do at this day in my entire life till now.
And here I am, sitting like a lifeless body.I looked at the mehendi (henna) on my hands.
It was supposed to keep a Name "Aarif" hidden in itself. But here they are, beautifully designed on my hands but for someone else.I frowned at how dark the mehendi came out.
They say that your groom loves you a lot if your mehendi turned out dark. But how could he love me? When he didn't even saw me.
The one who loves me, must be crying in our memories with bottles of alcohol.
Thinking about him, a tear dropped from my eyes.
In the fight of our love, at the end, I lost from this world.
Even though he tried to stop me hundredth time but I left him.
I left him for a Promise. They say Love has no boundary, but our love had one. It was a promise.
To not break one promise, I broke two hearts - His and Mine.
A loser I am to myself and to him.
I am sorry Aarif.
I am sorry my love.
I am sorry.
I know, a sorry won't change anything.
But I am sorry to both- to you and to myself. Now even if I want, I can't change anything.
