Knuckles walks through the park sensing a chaos emerald near by. He hopes to find it before rouge does since she has been on a emerald stealing spree. It got so bad that tails managed to invent a shield for the master emerald on the island so knuckles could find the emeralds. He soon hears someone grunting and followed the sound. At the same time the emerald power was getting stronger. Once he made it to a clearing he was shocked seeing shadow tied up and hanging upside down. On the ground was a red emerald. "Well well the ultimate life form all tangled up" knuckles smirked crossing his arms and holding in a laugh. "Shut up knucklehead!" Shadow snapped still struggling. Knuckles starts laughing as he walked up to him and picked up the emerald. "Now why would you dare call me that babe?" He said tossing the emerald up and down. "Seriously?" Shadow glared at his secret boyfriend. Knuckles smirked and shadow sighed. "I'm sorry.... Please help me down...." Shadow asked and knuckles puts the emerald in his pocket. "How did you end up like this?" Knuckles asked messing with the knots. "Three words.... Rouge tricked me...." Shadow shamefully admits and here's the echidna chuckling. "Not fun is it?" He said between chuckles. "No...." Shadow groaned. Knuckles lifts up shadow's head and lowers him down to fully untie him. "Damn she used some good knots" Knuckles said. He reached in one of the pockets of his pants and pulls out a pocket knife to cut the rope. "There we go" he said and stood up. Shadow slowly gets up and regains the lost feeling in his legs. "Let's head back to angel island and let you rest more" knuckles said and shadow nods. He hands the hedgehog the emerald and he teleports the two on the island. "So knux any luck on your search?" Shadow asked sitting down on the grey sofa. "Yeah but Rouge got ahead I'm surprised she didn't take this emerald from you." Knuckles replied sitting next to his boyfriend. "She didn't know I had that one luckily." Shadow admits. "Well that's good maybe after you rest up we can search together and get revenge on her. What do you say Shadz?" Knuckles asked smiling.
