Chapter 15- Does Anyone Understand?

"Guys it's only three days for the fest."

" I am so excited!"

" I am sorry guys, I am leaving." Interrupted Aarushi.

"Why? Everything alright?" Inquired Nitin.

"Yeah, just a little headache. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Okay, take care Aarushi. Sam, put that thing there no." Meera went away.

Aarushi went towards the exit of the room. As she stepped out, Aryan entered the room with noodles in one hand and coffee in another.

"Where are you going?" He asked taking a sip of coffee.

Aarushi rolled her eyes towards him.

"What happened? Leaving already?" He inquired.

"You don't ask what happened. You are the reason." She said rudely.

"What did I do now?"

"You were talking with me till 4 in the morning! I slept for only 2 hours because of you."

"You were not talking alone. My sleep was also interrupted."

"But you were the one who started remember when conversations."

"You could have ignored and slept. I didn't tell you to reply immediately." He said in a teasing manner.

Aarushi paused.

Yeah, Aryan was right. He didn't asked her to reply all night.

"Anyways still, you know my condition when I don't get proper sleep right." She said like guilty.

"Yeah yeah. Remember when for the first time we talked till 3 in the morning and next day you were staring at me like monster all day because you didn't get proper sleep."

"Not again!" She looked down.

Aryan looked away.

And they both busted into laughter.

"You want noodles?"

"No"

"With sauce?"

"Okay"

"Okay then let's go to canteen."

"Your treat?"

"You think so?"

"Yes"

"Then you think wrong."

They both stepped out.

Kavya stood near the exit, looking at Aryan and Aarushi, with face expressions looking sad and surprised.

"So you read that book?"

"Dev told me it's a good one. So I gave it a try."

"I too told you it's a good one. But you didn't read at that time."

Aryan laughed. Aarushi gave him an irritated look.

"Chill dude, it was three years ago."

"Huh"

"You want anything else to eat?"

"You are not going to pay for what I am eating."

"Yeah, so?"

"So why are you asking?"

"Because I am not going to pay for it." He laughed.

Aarushi smiled too.

Suddenly she stood up.

"What happened?"

"What's the time?"
