Living in blissful ignorance that her kingdom she created was falling apart, Bidi focused on the task she had at hand. She wasn't bogged down by what was happened in the regions. She was only focusing on helping the Woodland elves.
After she was inaugurated into the Woodland society, she now possessed all of the curses placed on them by The Black Hand and his master. While she didn't know this was the case, she wouldn't be able to leave the sanctity of the forest without lifting the curse. Should she try, she would begin burning into an ash.
With high standing amongst the Woodland elves, she felt like a real queen again. She welcomed the experience, but she didn't forget she was there for her father first.
It had been a few weeks in the comforts of the city. It was nice to be able to sleep again, and in a real bed. Bidi had never broken a curse before, but she was confident she was doing the right thing. It would take a while for the curse to break. The two nameless wizards really did a number on the elvish people of old.
Bidi and Pita often had talks at night. Pita would send for her, and they would talk in private. Pita had many concerns for her people readjusted to life outside the forest. "It's a mess right now," Bidi admitted, "you'd probably want to come back to the forest after you see what's happening everywhere."
"I have been stripped from my home and forced to live in the confines of a small portion of the world. Elves are nomadic by nature. Being stagnant for so long has really hurt us. I wish to explore once more. I came from a region called Allahabad. It was once ruled by elves, but men rounded the elves up for genocide. The elves you see today are the only elves who survived the genocide."
"I'm sorry," Bidi said, "but I don't know what region Allahabad is. I don't think it exist anymore."
"Elvish history has probably been erased," Pita said, "at one time, I was one of the greatest warriors to ever live. I wielded Yingazi and claimed many lives."
"Yingazi?" Bidi quizzed, wondering why she ever had the magical blade.
"Do you know it?" Pita asked.
"I am in possession of this blade now. I don't see how you could've wielded it, though. Its powers only answer to agents of dark or light," Bidi wondered.
"At one time, I was the agent of light. God came to me and sanctioned me with the task to kill all the demons the devil had set lose on the land," Pita shared, "I did not accomplish my task. I have failed my god, and so I am punished."
"You did succeed," Bidi corrected, "there hasn't been demons in the world for hundreds of years."
"That must've been my successor," she moaned.
"After I free you of the curse," Bidi changed the subject, "I need your help."
"I would follow my savior even into the dark," Pita confirmed.
"I am looking for someone who was lost to the forest long ago," Bidi started.
"We have captured many people who have wondered into here, did we do not wish for them to be eaten by the giants," Pita shared, "you should check the prison for the man you seek."
"I don't think you have him. You'd know if you had him. He isn't a typical person. The moonlight changes him," Bidi added before she wasted her time searching the prisons.
"Elyhudir," she gravely whispered.
"You know him?" Bidi questioned.
"There is a man, a man with great power, who upon the night transforms into a great beast. His name in our elvish language is Elyhudir."
