Kokichi POV: 

Shuichi and I were sleeping, since we have school tomorrow. Nothing bad of sleeping for the night, Shuichi was on his phone texting Kaede about tomorrow's test.

Even though I could clearly see that he isn't writing it. But instead he asked her about her relationship, and if she's happy with Miu. I felt betrayed, I thought promised me that he only loves me.

Maybe I'm over-thinking, I know Shuichi only loves me. I was faking being asleep, so I could see what he's texting. I didn't feel like cuddling with him, I felt my heart shatter in pieces.

Maybe I'm just dumb and that, Shuichi was texting Kaede about her relationship was going. I mean Kaito did say that, Shuichi really loves me. Maybe I should text him, and maybe do a bit of a prank.

I wanted to see if Shuichi really loves me. I make sure to wake up tomorrow morning, and text him. After Shuichi finished texting, he puts his phone away. He went to cuddle with me, as I faked being asleep.

Shuichi kissed my head and told me that he loves me, pulling me closer to him. We both fell asleep, until the next morning. In the morning, I got up and saw Shuichi still asleep.

I got ready and texted Kaito, I asked him if we can do a prank for Shuichi? He replied to my message and asked why? I explained to him, that Shuichi texted Kaede about her relationship.

He asked what type of prank, this was going to be? I asked that I wanted to pretend to kiss him, and cover it with a book or something. He replied that he had a girlfriend, and didn't want to do that.

I begged him and I'll pay him in return for $200 dollars, if he does it. He replied that he will do it, but only if we can cover something that Shuichi doesn't know. That we are fake kissing.

I accepted, and Shuichi woke up and got ready. I put my phone away and Shuichi made us breakfast, as he smiled. After finishing breakfast, we went to school and got ready for the day.

Kaito was with Maki, and Shuichi was with Kaede. I was left alone so I went to class, and texted Kaito. That during lunch time, I wanted him to meet me in the library, where we will plan our prank.

He accepted, I put my phone away and sat down on the chair. Waiting for everyone to come to class. 3 to 4 hours later, it was lunch time. Both Kaito and I went to the library, as we started the prank.

"Kokichi, are you sure this is going to work?" Kaito asked

"Yes, we just cover our faces with this book as we fake kiss" I said

"I mean, Shuichi will be mad at you. Not like I warned you" Kaito replied

"I know, but I just want to see if Shuichi really loves me" I said

We both waited until I heard footsteps, and Shuichi's voice calling my name. I opened the book, and cover both of our face. We closed our eyes, as we didn't actually kiss. Shuichi footstep stopped, I opened my eyes.

I could tell Shuichi was surprised and disgusted, at the same time. Kaito faked his expression being shocked, Shuichi asked Kaito to leave. Kaito left and didn't say a word, knowing what will happen.

Shuichi walked up to me, whispered in my ears. Saying that he wanted me to meet him in the washroom, then walked off. I didn't understand why he wanted me to meet him there?

After going to the washroom, I saw Shuichi standing there. I knew I kinda screwed up, but let's see if he would really care. I got inside and asked Shuichi, why he wanted me to meet him?

He walked up to me, and pushed me against the wall. He grabbed my chin as he looked at me, being a bit pissed. He asked me, why I kissed Kaito? I blushed knowing that it was only a prank.
