Lei'kur POV:I was sitting in the marui next to Eylan, trying to make a necklace out of special rocks found only in my village, Kaley'ru.
I had a small pouch full of them, so I decided to take the ones that matched her spirit;
-Yellow because she is always perceptive,
-Blue because she is reliable, confident and honest,
-Green because she is always hopeful,
And Purple because she is compassionate and creative.
I took a fil and Eylan-who had pierced a hole in each rock-helped me pass them through it.
As I was passing in the last stone, Tuktirey suddenly came in.
"LEI'KUR" she yelled. I jumped at her suddenly bursting into the marui, which made me drop her necklace.
A few beads fell and I frowned, picking them up.
"Tuk?" I said.
"Have you heard the news?" She asked excitedly.
I frowned harder. "Umm...no. What happened?"
She spotted the beads in my left hand and the necklace in my right.
"Oh" her ears perked up. "Did you break something?"
My ears perked up as well, and I sat down and put the beads quickly back in, and in order.
Once it was done I handed it to her.
She was shocked at first but smiled. "Thank you!"
I tied it around her neck. "You're welcome."
"Why are you doing this though?" She asked.
"Because you're such a nice friend and I want to thank you for it."
"And you're such a nice friend, I want to introduce you to my brother!" She exclaimed happily.
I cocked my head. "Who? Lo'ak? But I've already met hi-"
"-not him! Neteyam" Tuk said like it was that obvious, cutting me off.
"You cut me off!" I said, offended.
She shrugged.
But hey I was going to meet this Neteyam after all the times I had asked if someone could tell me who he was.
Tuk grabbed my hand and directed us outside, walking towards her marui.
When we arrived, Tuk entered first. I could hear her show off her new necklace, which made me smile.
I entered as well and noticed that this time they were seven, but not six.
"Lei'kur, this is my brother Neteyam. And Neteyam you alreayd know." Tuk introduced us to each other.
"Hi" I said awkwardly.
"Hey" he answered, smiling.
"Why weren't you here before?" I asked cautiously, not wanting to offend anyone.
"He rose from the dead" Tuk said from behind me.
Excuse me what?
From my expression, Neytiri smiled and explained; "We too do not know how and why, but it is a miracle Eywa decided to make."
I nodded, still lost but getting a clearer image what she meant.
"Sit with us" Tuk said, grabbing my hand and making my sit as she took a bowl and handed it to me.
In it was a featherfish and and a grains wrapped in leaves.
I waited 'till everyone had their own bowl and started eating.
As we ate, Neteyam made conversation; "How long have you been here?" He asked me.
"Oh it's only been a few days. Almost a week" I answered.
"You're not really the talkative type, are you?" He said.
"Just if I start getting comfortable with someone" I chuckled. "Then otherwise... most people think I'm shy."
He nodded, understanding.
I took this time to observe him and noticed we had similar features; same eyes and similar nose.
No wonder Neytiri was looking at me alot when I first arrived; I had reminded her of her deceased son.
"Observing my brother, I see?" Lo'ak smirked.
I turned to look at him with a small smile. "Sorry..." I mumbled.
"Don't be" Neteyam reassured me. "You noticed something, right?"
I looked up at him, surprised he knew. "Yeah..."
"What is it?" Tuk asked.
"We kind of look alike" I started.
"Same nose and eyes" Neteyam finished for me.
Everyone smiled at this; two people discretely looking each other and realising that they looked very similar.
What really made me smile though was to see Lo'ak this happy; it was the first time I had seen him really happy.
"You're smiling" I subconsciously said outloud.
I was looking at him so he knew I was talking to him, which only made his smile grow bigger, knowing someone noticed his change in mood.
"Yeah."
