You are very thoroughly trained in using daggers , guns , bows and sword as in your family everyone until they have not learned how to use atleast two weapons are not allowed to be independent. What a person wants to do after being independent is that persons decision but until being independent everyone has to follow the rules in your family. You are a half-mage because of your mother being a mage. Your father's side of family has shapeshifting powers.
Their are different types of magicspells that a mage can do but they should have enough mana in their body. Every mage can use there mana in different ways, hence creating their own styles .
Spells like teleporting, shield, healing and amplification(like using mana to move very fast or amplify your hearing) are basic spells that any mage can do but how strong your shield is or how far and how many people you can teleport depends on how much energy and mana your body can uphold.
The colour of your eye (in the picture above) is actually a proof of you being a shapeshifter. Your eyes shine in dark like how animals' eyes do but you can control it because of being a half-mage.
Even though you have retired from being an assassin you still sometimes do the job if you get good payment and dont have anything else to do. Gore doesn't really affect you too much .
You stopped keeping tab of your age after 623 but it has been some decades since then so you are pretty much over 680 or even over 700 yrs .
