Jay - Grief pt1

( where jays cousin who he was so close to passes away and he acts a little different gaining worry from the members until he breaks down )

It was the near of the promotions for there new comeback bite me. Everyone was tired mentally, physically and where overwhelmed at the expectations of fans and company.

It was 11 o'clock in Korea and Enhypen goes through there 8th run of the songs of bite me and sacrifice. Sweat hanging on the jaws of the boys who gasp for air trying to fill in their lungs.

"Jungwon-a, we can't do anymore, we can't even stand on our legs all we do now is wobble" Heeseung finally says. Slapping his thigh to put in some humour.

"I, I agree" sunghoon also panted out

"Your right, that's enough for today, take a rest we'll leave for the dorms in 10." Jungwon replies laughing at how all the boys fall onto the floor in relief.

"You all exaggerate" niki says rolling his eyes

"Your still very younggg you don't get as tired as us" sunoo replies back

This earns laughter from all of them

"You guys act like your 50" niki said now sulking

"Whateverr" jake says

As the members pack away to walk out the practice room and order checking jays phone rings, confusing him as the number was unknown

can't be a extreme fan right? He thought that until he saw that the number was a number he knows from somewhere but where?.

"Something bothering you jay? You seem weirded out. Is it a saesang?" Heeseung looks at him

This also taking the attention of the rest of the members. They know how scary these calls can get.

"Nahh don't worry, I know the number do you mind if I take it? I'll meet up with you at the car"

"Yeah, hurry up though don't want it too
Get too late."  Someone replies

"Thanks."

They all walk out the room cheerfully talking
About food.

"Hello?" Jay answers first

"Jongseonga..." a woman replies. She seems upset like something is bothering her

Jay stays silent

"Jeongseonga....?"

"Cousin nia?. What's wrong are you okay??" He asked why is she ringing him right now ?

"Jay.a. They told me not to tell you. But I just couldn't. Please jay forgive me.
Please." She said starting to sob

"Now calm down, it'll be okay what happened. Hm?"
He asked in a smoothing voice

" He didn't make it jay. He didn't make it I'm so sorry."

He froze. His hands stand to tremble and shake in fear

"Your lying right nia? He's not gone yet. He was going to be awake for me when I came back home."

"They told not to tell you.. He's really gone jay he couldn't make it.  Kwan didn't make it. They pulled the plug the tumour got too big for surgery. They couldn't remove it."

Jays whole world felt like it stopped Kwan minsun was 27 years old. He was jays personal bodyguard he protected him from bullies. He was his emotional support when he was upset and now he was now dead. Dead without him saying bye.

Jay closed the phone and desperately dialled kwans number.

His trembling got worse and tears where streaming down his face

No one  answered "Kwannie!? Please tell me your okay"
He then called his mother

"Jay baby! How are you doing?" His mother replied energetically

"Is Kwan dead?" He said with no filter

"W-who told you?. I mean what do you mean?"

"He's dead isn't he."

"I'm sorry baby. We where planning to
Tell you after your promotions ended."

"Y.you think my promotions where important? Compared to this???" He said shutting the phone on her falling onto his knees.

"Hung? The members told me to come get you." What's taking so long?" Niki said until he looked over where his hyung was hyperventilating on the floor with his hands pulling onto his hair

"Jay hyung!" He ran to him trying to free his hands from his hair.

"Breath in with me hyung in and out"

He wouldn't listen his mind was too full. He want suppose to be announced dead. He didn't say bye.

Niki didn't know what to do. Nobody was nearby and jays hands where too red for his liking

"Hyung please calm down. We can go
Home and have honey? Please?"

Jay clenched his eyes shut in pain he cried and panted until it awoke him. He was awfully tired like he was dragged up.

"Are you okay now?"

He nodded and stood up walking
Away

"Hyung don't walk home.  I know you I won't tell anybody about what happened just come with us to the car"

"I'd appreciate that Niki" he said to him smiling lightly

Oh he was so tired.

As soon as he stepped into the car a sad and dark atmosphere Also stepped with him.

They drove home in silence and walked into
The dorm silently.

Jay went straight to his own room and started
Sobbing

"What happened?..."
Someone asked
