Chapter 10

It was a new year and the schools had reopened. Normally they'd all be back at the dorms but due to the work studies program they each had to be at their respective hero agencies.
Shoto and Izuku obviously chose to continue at Endeavor's agency - with the condition that he'd actually let them do hero work. Endeavor agreed and revealed that he was actually about to start training them on the job of a hero. Bakugo had surprisingly tagged along wanting to intern with Endeavor as well. They were all quick to find out that Endeavor wasted no time on the field, and that they had to be on alert at all time due to his sporadic movement.
"I had no idea dad moved around alot like this" Izuku sighed catching his breath. Endeavor walked up to them with Hawks closely behind him.
"Good job keeping up with me. You three are showing great promise"
"Yo" Hawks said lazily.
"Hawks? What are you doing here?" Shoto asked surprised.
"I had a little meeting with the Public Safety Commission and I decided to fill Endeavor in on the details, since he's a top ranked hero along with All Might they being aware is of highest priority" the winged hero answered.
Hawks turned away and whispered to Endeavor. "There could be a war breaking out pretty soon. Read this book carefully for more details, I can't say more than that" he said slipping a book into Endeavor's hand.
"Well I'll see you guys another time" Hawks waved walking away.
Endeavor looked at the book curiously. Something was up. The man they had caught had also been spouting something about war and revolution, but he chalked it up to a bloodthirsty lunatic spewing his twisted desires.
"Let's call it a day. I have something to attend to" he said flying off with the boys following behind.

"Are you sure of this master? What if I'm not ready?" Shigaraki asked worriedly. All for One smiled and put a hand on his successors shoulder.
"Yes Tomura. I have complete faith that you will not disappoint me, you will be getting a copy of my quirk, and I'll hand the real thing to you when you're ready. For now you have to go through these modifications so your body can handle multiple quirks"
Shigaraki nodded and sat down. Dr Ujiko excitedly injected some serums into Shigaraki who winced at the pain.
"Does it have to be so painful?" he hissed. "Not to worry young master. The pain you feel now is only but a small price to pay for tremendous power. When you wake up you will be unstoppable" the doctor chirped. This seemed to please Shigaraki, but he couldn't help but feel something was off somewhere. The thought didn't last long as his body succumbed to the drugs injected into him. As soon as he fell unconscious All for One turned to the doctor.
"Are you positive that he will be ready in four months? I don't like gambles"
The doctor nodded. "He'll be perfected by four months maximum. Your new indestructible vessel and a body that will live forever". All for One grinned evilly and began to walk out of the room. "I will be speaking to the other members of the league"
In the bar the other members of the league were in good spirits. Their plan to overthrow hero society was coming into fruition.
"Just imagine all the blood" Toga said licking her lips.
"We'll expose those fakes and show their real colors to the world" Spinner added. Twice agreed, before suddenly opposing the idea as his other personality had a say in the matter.
The room went silent when All for One stepped out of a black portal entering the room.
"What brings you here master?" Kurogiri asked bowing. The others too bowed in respect following Kurogiri.
"I came to inform you that Tomura is undergoing a transformation of some sorts. As your leader he needs the strength to lead you all to your goals, and as his master it's my job to help him. The rest of you should train as much as you can, this war will decide everything"
"I'll see to that master" Kurogiri replied.
"That's good" All for One said stepping back into the portal.
"That was kind of scary" Toga said shivering.
"You heard master. We shouldn't waste our time. If we aren't prepared we could lose the war and fail master Tomura". The others nodded and resolved to get stronger to crush the heroes.

The news of an impending war spread amongst hero society and there was a tense nervousness in the air. The government had already started to make preparations should things go south prematurely. The cities around Deika - the base of the Meta Liberation front were evacuated completely and the citizens were moved to safer areas. Several scout heroes were sent to survey the area and report any suspicious activity. Hawks who was working undercover for the Public Safety Commission was a steady supply of intel but he was beginning to think the league didn't fully trust him. The hero schools doubled their efforts to training their students so they would be able to help out in backup. Izuku and Shoto trained nonstop so Izuku could master his temperature control, something which he was slowly getting the hang of.
"I don't know how you do it so easily" Izuku said panting. Shoto sat down and sipped water from a bottle.
"It's not really something I put thought to. I've been training like that since I was little, you've only ever thought of cranking up the heat. With time you'll learn to do it subconsciously, but for now we have to keep practicing, especially with the tense atmosphere around. It may just be me but something big is about to go down"
"Yeah, I get what you mean. Even dad has been acting strangely these days. I just hope all is well" Izuku replied.

Timeskip four months
Dr. Ujiko ran out of the lab excitedly.
"Master! He's awake! The experiment was a success!". All for One grinned and got up to see his new vessel.
Shigaraki sat up from the bed he was placed on and looked at his arms. He felt more powerful, he felt alive.
"I can finally crush hero society" he said to himself.
"Yes Tomura. It is indeed a joyous occasion. The rebirth of my successor" All for One said walking into the room.
"Master" Shigaraki said getting up.
"Rest well Tomura. In a few days the world will be ours to rule, and hero society is doomed" All for One said smiling.
After a few days the tension that loomed over everyone broke completely as the heroes all gathered around as war was declared by All for One who finally stepped out of the shadows. All Might began speaking.
"Fellow heroes! Today we are faced with war. A war that unfortunately some will not survive. All for One has been my greatest enemy, and as the number 1 hero I vow to take him down! Rest assured that I will defeat him and if I perish do not waver. I have chosen one of the next generation to take my place. Those who want to go now may do so, walking away also takes courage, but those that remain should remember you're heroes. Even if it costs us our lives we must win for the innocent lives that we swore to protect. Let's go beyond! PLUS ULTRA!". His speech was met with an ovation and then the chief of the Public Safety Commission began to speak.
"We have intel that the Meta Liberation front is also involved with All for One. We will split our forces into three groups, one to take out the Liberation army, one to take out the league of villains, and the last to take out All for One himself". She pressed a remote and a slide popped up on the screen showing the area and their best possible entrance routes. The plan was formulated and they were about to be dismissed.
"I would like to nominate some students to fight on the front lines as well. I know it doesn't seem sane, but they've all proven their strength in the field" All Might spoke up. The chairman raised an eyebrow.
"And why students? As you said it doesn't sound like a sane idea"
All Might's confidence however might have convinced her.
"And who are these students?" she asked.
"Mirio Togata, Izuku and Shoto Todoroki, Katsuki Bakugo, Nejire Hado and Tamaki Amajiki"
Endeavor smiled seeing that his sons were acknowledged by All Might.
"Three first years? The third years I can understand, but are you certain?" a random hero asked.
Aizawa spoke up. "Those three first years are probably even more power than the third years just mentioned. I have complete faith in them".
The chairman gave in eventually. If Eraserhead and All Might vouched for them then they had to be powerful.
"Very well. Remember the future of our society depends on this, good luck"
