Chasing Dreams

High school

Justin had graduated from 8th grade and didn't no where to go to high school. He had 3 scholarships to division 1 high schools in his area. They all had really good hockey programs but Justin couldn't pick one. He looked over the past few seasons of all the teams and it was pretty much even. He asked his mom for her opinion and she gave him some advice. 2 out of the 3 high schools were like 3 hours away and they'd have to move. Justin's mom loved where they lived and so did he. Hr decided to go to the high school like 25 minutes away from his house, Dallas High. His bestfriend Toby, was going there to.
So summer ended and school started, Justin and Toby both went to school together on the 1st day, to find there way around. Justin ended up having 3 classes with Toby, math science and French. They were both excited. When Justin got home he told his mom about his day and that he had classes with Toby, also he met new friends, Blake, Noah, and Duncan, they all played hockey and we're looking to make varsity 1st year. Justin was happy, and so was his mom.
The next day at school Justin and his friends went to go introduce themselves to the hockey coach, coach Mike, he was tall, built, funny, and nice. He said he would look forward to seeing them all at tryouts. The next Tuesday were the tryouts. For the rest of the week after school Justin would have his friends over, do homework and then go to a puck time and practice. Blake was a center, Noah was a defenseman, and Duncan was a goalie.
At tryouts they all did excellent. A few days later they got a call and as Freshman they had made the varsity team, Duncan had only let in 4 goals during an hour scrimmage and it was fun. After they got the call Justin and Toby went out for pizza to celebrate, everything was going great for them as of right now.
