I was running around the place. It's been like 2-3 months of being a manager. Though it may sound like that's long amount of time, I still make mistakes like the plannings, and usually organising the stuff and yeah.

"F/N!!! Where are you?!? We need our cutie pie manager!" Kuroo yelled in a baby voice. He always does that.

Just because I'm a first year! So annoying.

I ran to where they were and saw Inuoka with a scraped knee.

I sighed and looked at him. He flinched when we made eye contact. I bet he knew why I sighed. I knelt down to be on his level because he was sitting down on the ground.

"Inuoka.. How many times should I remind you to wear your kneepads?" I tiredly scolded him. I've been reminding him for months about it but he seems to forget every time.

"I'm sorry, F/N.." He looked down as he scrunched his eyebrows. Now I feel bad. I tapped his leg before getting the first aid kit.

"I want this to be the last time I'm treating your knee, okay?" I told him and he nodded.

As I was finishing putting a bandaid on his knee, I dusted my hands off and helped him stand up. "Feeling okay? Want to rest first? I'll grab an extra knee pad for you?" I asked and honestly, no matter what I tell him, he'll just nod at every word. I don't mind though. It makes my job easier.

I went to the changing rooms to see if there's an extra kneepad and luckily, there was.

"Inuoka! I saw some kneepads. Here." I handed him a pair of black kneepads. He thanked me and continued playing.

While the guys were practicing, I took all of their bottles and refilled them. Once I returned back, coach Nekomata gestured to me to come there.

"Yes, sir?" I asked. He smiled like a cat as usual and told me about an upcoming training camp. He didn't say much but coach Naoi did help me more about organising the matches and what I should be bringing for the team.

"Alright, thank you!" I bowed to them before going back to my special corner.

Fukorodani, Karasuno, Ubugawa, and Shinzen, huh? Only 4 teams are coming. Is that a lot? Maybe I'll meet the love of my life?! I can finally cross off that from my list!

"F/N. Can you help me practice my tosses, please?" Kenma asked while he was wiping his sweat with his shirt.

I smiled and nodded.

What if I already met the love of my life? Kenma? Nah. He feels more like...a best friend. Someone I can gossip to? Yeah, that's Kenma.

I guess I still have to wait but I don't really care about that. Maybe when I'm a third year or in college.

I quickly went to the court and threw Kenma some of the volleyballs. He sets each volleyball perfectly and Yamamoto also perfectly spikes it.

"Nice! Yamamoto, good job! I always like watching you spike." I confessed excitedly which I REALLY regret.

I'm basically known to be "cold towards everyone except Kenma". I mean they're not wrong and I like to keep it that way but the way I just complimented Yamamoto as if he was Kenma was.. not good.

"F-F/N..!" He was about to speak until Kuroo pushed him away while smiling like an idiot.

"F/N... What was that~? I just heard you complimenting someone who wasn't Kenma! Are you.. DO YOU LIKE YAMAMOTO?!" He yelled it out as if it was a great discovery.

As if.

"No." I shut him down before he said anymore assumptions. I walked away, completely forgetting that I was helping Kenma practice and went to talk to the most- to the second most trustworthy guy on the team. Yaku.

"Hi! Do you need help practicing?" I asked him. He looked up at me from the ground.

Oops. I interrupted his stretching sessions.

"Actually.. I do! But, I don't know if you can do it." He said, looking a bit angry..?

I tilted my head in confusion and saw that Yamamoto was busy somewhere else. Yaku probably needed him.

"It's okay! I know how to spike. I played volleyball before." I said so proudly. I wasn't lying but I only played it for like two years. I think that's still beginner level, right?

He hesitated before saying "sure". We then asked Kenma if he could help with setting, and he agreed. Better than to practice with that annoying horse.

"Sorry, Yaku. My spikes are usually weak. I didn't drink any coffee or energy drinks today." I gave him a heads up. He gave me a thumbs up before saying,

"Don't worry about it."

I passed the ball to Kenma and he perfectly did a set. He was a genius. We've never done this before yet, he knew how to do a set for me.

I ran while looking at the ball and jumped. I tried to make it difficult for Yaku, so I had put all my strength when hitting it.

I saw him on the other side of the court getting ready. I looked for a good spot before deciding on that small corner. Just on the line. On the line.

I smacked the ball into the corner that I planned, hoping it was on the line. I always did that. Especially in competitions.

As I hopefully had expected, Yaku couldn't receive it. Yay!

"F-F/N... You said t-that.. it was going to be weak..?" He looked so confused that I felt bad.

"Was it out?!" I asked out loud to see if anybody saw.

"It was in. It was perfectly on the line." Coach Nekomata said, smiling.

Nice.

"Sorry, Yaku! I thought I was weak today. Maybe, I'm okay?" I looked at him. He just looked scared a bit.

"Let's do another one then..?"
