Do you believe in love at first sight - or should I walk by again?

If anyone would like to listen what I listened to when writing this:
• Pull up to mi bumper - Konshens, J Capri
•lose control - meduza, Becky Hill, good boys
• Runaway - Galantis
• Million voices - Otto Knows
• Freaks - Timmy Trumpet
• Five more hours - Chris brown • Where have you been - Rihanna

They say where words fail, music speaks.  If that's the case, I need to hear what Pull Up To Mi Bumper is saying to Lizzo and Chris Evans considering they've been grinding on the crowded dance floor for the past few minutes.

"Get yours, girl." I mutter before taking a swig of my drink, letting the burn slip down my throat.

I'll be honest, when I was asked to DJ the night of the Marvel wrap party, I sure didn't think it would be as entertaining as it had been. If I was allowed to take pictures I'd of made a fortune.

It's only about 12:30 and I've already witnessed Lizzo and Chris Evans putting on a show for the ages, Lizzie Olsen has been stood on top of the bar singing along to Rihanna, and surprisingly RDJ ripping his shirt off when belting the chorus of Runaway. That was one I really didn't see coming.

But with all that said, this is what clubs are for and what the power of music can do to people. There's currently hundreds of people who are seen as super professionals, who have worked hard for god knows how long to perfect their career, currently letting loose in Club Apex. No stress, no thinking about work, no worrying about any potential hangovers tomorrow. Just a group of people letting loose and living in the moment. It was probably the best think about my job.

No, that's a total lie.

The best part is free drinks and the hot girls that come in. But my first answer felt a lot less sleazy.

"Excuse me, are you taking any requests?" A faint voice from my left side shouts.

Absolutely not.

I shuffle over to the left side of the booth as the next song I already preloaded came on, meaning I had about 3 more minutes till I had to actually do some real work. The booth in Apex is raised above the dance floor with stairs leading to it which are usually cornered off after one too many people waltzed their way up here and annoyed me too many times.

Two people were stood there waiting with giant smiles on their faces. The real question now is do I play it cool and pretend I don't know Zendaya and Florence Pugh? We'll see. My mouth betrays me a lot.

I felt my eyebrows furrow in confusion and jut my chin out, signalling for them to repeat what they said. Zendaya smiled and pointed to Florence who put her hands on the divider of the booth and stood on her tip toes.

Girl is small.

"Are you taking any requests?" She repeated herself again.

I gave her a thumbs up. "Sure." I told you, my mouth betrays me.

The bass dropped on the song that was playing which timed itself with the smoke and confetti machines located around the dance floor causing everyone to cheer. I looked down to Florence's lips which were moving but I couldn't hear a single thing that was said. I stuck my hands out and frowned before pointing to my ear, trying to signal that I couldn't hear her. Her smile widens as I see her grip the divider harder before letting one hand go and reaching up and over to grab the back of my neck and pull me closer to her. She pushed her head next to mine before turning so her lips were next to my ear. "Can you play Five More Hours?" She shouted in my ear, sending chills down my spine. The husk in her voice is something else, even when she's shouting down my ear drum.
