Avni was sitting in her room blank, emotionless. The tear stains were seen on her face. She heard a knock at the door and went and opened the door and saw Ashish.
"May I come in princess ?"
"Why are you asking dad? Please come."
Avni went near the bed and sat there. Ashish entered her room and closed the door. He came and sat beside her and caress her hairs. Avni couldn't control more so she hugged him keeping her head on his chest and started crying. Ashish was not able to bear his child like that. He controlled his emotions just for Avni.
Ashish consoled Avni saying, "Please child don't cry. You know right I don't like my crying butterfly."
"Dad why did he broke marriage with me? Am I not beautiful? "
Ashish broke the hug and cupped her face.
"You are the most beautiful child Avni. You are wise and obedient."
"Then why he chose Di over me. Why dad?" Questioned Avni innocently.
"Avni, it was his choice to do that. He felt nothing for you he said that. It was neither your fault nor his. And whatever he did was I think good because maybe after marriage he would have told you this then it would have hurted you more. And also don't waste your these tears for a person who is not worth you, who doesn't care about you. Why are you wasting your time crying here baby? He rejected you so what, the world have not ended right? It's still going on and on. And the person you are crying for(wiping her tears) doesn't deserve this and also don't care about this." Explained Ashish softly to her.
And it is also rightly said that none should waste their time, tears and life for someone who don't even care about you and your presence.
Avni looks down listening him and agreeing to his words.
"Avni this world doesn't stop or care about anyone. It just goes on and on. The time doesn't stop. He left you it was his loss you don't bother about it. You'll get a better man than him. No rather best man. Just forget him now. He isn't worth you. You deserve this world baby butterfly."
Avni was silently looking at him and then after few minutes of silence Ashish spoke.
" Butterfly, atleast smile now. Else I will also cry. See.."
Ashish started fake crying in front of Avni and Avni laughed seeing it. Some tears fall off her eyes which Ashish wipes immediately. He also smiles seeing his daughter. Avni kept her head on his chest and hugged him. Ashish kissed her hairs.
"Dad.."
"Yes child..."
"Neil must be also broken now right?"
Ashish moves out of the hug and saw her frowning at her and she continued.
Avni continued,"No dad actually when Di was saying those words to him, I saw he was having the feeling of betrayal, his eyes were red. But none cared about him. When I was there dad, I saw many times that Rohit uncle just use to taunt him , ignore him, sometimes blame him. How he must be handling everything now that too alone?"
Ashish looks at her daughter who is cared for Neil and thought to ask about her and his alliance but shook his head thinking that it is not the right time to say this.
"Avni, Rohit may blame him, but see his so strong emotionally that he doesn't consider his thoughts much." replied Ashish to her.
" No dad, but still he may be more hurt than I am. In my case, it was one sided, only I loved Nitesh he didn't loved me back. But in his case, Di also reciprocated his love. He must be hurt right?" Ashish nods and Avni thinks.
On the other side, at a secluded place with no lights and no one there we can see a car. It's head lights are on. We can see Neil sitting in the car holding the steering wheel. He remembers all the incidents which happened at his home.
Flashback:
1. Anisha: I thought I loved Neil but I didn't.
2. Anisha: Take your time dad but I would only marry Nitesh.
3. Neil: I love you Anisha. Will you marry me?
Anisha: Yes Neil, I Love You Too.

Neil groaned in frustration and hit his hand on the steering wheel. From his face anyone could make it out that he is been crying for many hours. He got out of the car and sat near the front tyre on the road. He started crying loudly hiding his face in his palms and hit his hand on the road. He leans back on the car. His phone rang. He saw it was Shweta. He was ignoring her calls since a long time. He didn't pick up the calls. His hands were shaking. He wipes his tears and got up and started the car and left the place.
The moon was shining brightly over the Khanna Mansion. Shweta was sitting in the living area and was calling Neil but he didn't picked up his call. She saw he didn't picked it up then she heard his car noise. She looked at the door and saw Neil entering the house.
"Neil, where were you? It's so late in night. I was calling you since a long time atleast you could have taken my one call."
" Sorry mom. " Said Neil hiding his face.
Shweta cupped his face and saw her son whose eyes were all red. He was broken which broke the heart of a mother. Shweta wiped his face with her hands.
"Neil, what have you done to yourself child. Come have dinner."
"No mom, I am not hungry anymore."
Neil goes crossing his mother in his room and slept as he was tired the whole day crying. On the side, Ashish ensured that Avni is asleep and went to his room back. The next day, all the wedding festivities started. So first both the families decided that they should get Nitesh and Anisha engaged. So they again performed the engagement function. Neil was just looking at both of them with teary eyes. He was feeling betrayed but none was there to console him. He wiped his tears and felt a hand on his shoulder. He turned and saw Ashish. He smiled at him.
"Hey kid, why are you standing at the last in your brother's engagement?"
"I also can't see my love getting engaged or married to some guy who is none else than my brother. " Neil replied blankly.
"Ohh you today's kids!! I also told this thing to Avni and also tell this to you. You deserved someone more better than her. And also god must have written something good for you in future and there should be balance in everything right? So whatever happens is for good so have patience."
Just then someone calls Ashish and he goes excusing himself. He thought on his words and was blankly looking at the couple who just got engaged and were clicking pictures in romantic positions. He remembered Ashish's words and shook his head. Tired of everything happening there he went out in the garden and saw a lady sitting on the bench showing her back. He frowned and went near her and saw it's Avni. She feeling someone's presence looked at him and stood up.
" Neil jiju. "
Neil chuckles sadly.
"If you have forgotten then let me remind you that I am not your jiju anymore. " replied Neil sadly.
Avni looks at him hearing this and realizes.
"How can I forget?" Avni says this and looks down.
Neil looks at her.
