The darkness fell on the region of Resors, hills enveloped by mystery, trees covered by shadow, the moon rose out of its cloudy cover, and in that instant, Myron said,

"Let's go and grab that Valerian root."

"Good idea," Clover said, smiling at her brother.

"Come on then, let's get moving," Tuskan said, getting ready to leave on their journey across the field to where Myron had spotted the Valerian plants.

The four foxes headed down over the field, making sure not to run into anyone. The field was vast and with no hiding spots, the four had to make their way slowly and carefully, if all or one of them was spotted, their mission would be destined to fail.

They made their way to the barn at Oakhill Farm, red in colour with white window ledges and crosses. There were chickens running about, but held off from chasing them, of course, as they were too preoccupied with the task at hand to care.
The farmhouse porch light lit up as the barking of a Border Collie dog was heard. This was Jack, the farmer's sheepdog.

He began running towards them, as his owner called out to him.

"Jack, no wait." The farmer's wife said, worried. "It's just some foxes, come on boy."

Jack went back to his owner, looking quite sad.

"He's just scared, he's never seen anything so strange." She said to her husband.

The group reached a low wall into the field of valerian, the farmer must grow it.

Myron said, "Come on you three, lets grab that root."

They all quickly began heading down the grassy field while the man from earlier watches from the tunnel entrance.

" Not again, He's back."

"Gladly, we're over here and he's over there. He shouldn't see us from here. Find the valerian. It has a slender stem with a tiny bush of pink flowers," Clover said.

They found the valerian easily enough with it being tall and stately. Picking each one carefully to preserve the roots.
