"I'd like to read the next chapter," Eileen asked politely as her father handed her the book. "Chapter ten: Rats."

"Oh, I know what this chapter is about," laughed Deimos quietly, intriguing the others.

An unusual way to start the day was to see a lion in the snakes' nest, or at least it was until it became a recurring scene as the days went by. No one was surprised any more to see an eagle, a badger and a lion eating in the snakes' nest, although they still didn't understand it, they no longer looked at them with strange eyes.

Before the young Potter joined the snake table, it had already become lively due to the arrival of the other two, but even with the livelier atmosphere it was still the quietest table of the four.

"Well, we know how to behave ourselves," smiled Lord Nott at that premise, they would never show much emotion in public.

Time had passed quickly and they were now nearing the end of the second week of school. The young Potter looked happy as he ate breakfast with his friends, though the same could not be said for his friend Ronald, who watched the scene from the lions' table with a frown on his face as he listened to Hermione Granger read over and over again her notes on the subject of flying —after all, Slytherin and Gryffindor were going to have their first flying lesson that very afternoon.

"I need the necklace back."

"Eh?"

The young Potter watched his friend in bewilderment as a thousand questions began to settle in his head, imagining the worst possible scenario.

"You looked like you were about to pass out," said Adhara, looking at Drian's pale complexion on the screen while the adult version did not deign to look at the hologram.

"I need the necklace back," she repeated effortlessly as she set a piece of food down on Lord Black's plate as if it were nothing. "Stop thinking whatever you're thinking. I need to do some retouching on it, you're the only one I've yet to modify the necklace," she added, noticing his pale, nervous expression. "I would have done it with the others if you had come to talk to us last week."

"Oh, it was just that."

The boy sighed in relief as he took off the necklace and handed it to her.

"What else did you think she was going to do?" the young Slora questioned confusedly, not understanding his friend's reaction.

"I thought she was going to say I didn't deserve it..." he muttered in reply seconds later, staring at his food.
