I decided to skip them being 8 because I couldn't think of anything and 8 is such a boring ass age anyway. I wanted to do something special and not something that's already happened.

Small note: I've never played tomodachi life so made half of it up.

NOAH POV

I was so excited! Cody was coming round for a play date today and I needed to get everything ready! I had prepared snacks of assorted fruits (my Mom was on some health kick at the moment). I had spread out blankets and cushions in front of my TV so we could play on my Wii. I didn't know what else to do.

I was contemplating spraying some air freshener but decided against it, then the doorbell rang.

DINGGGG!

I raced downstairs almost tripping over my own feet to find Cody peeking through the window to see if I was in.

I swung open the door and gave Cody a hug. Cody quickly returned this as I grabbed his arm and practically dragged him upstairs.

Cody stared in awe at what I had set out. He almost immediately sat down and made himself comfy before motioning for me to join him.

I finally put my book down I hadn't realised I was holding and joined him as he passed me a controller.

We had to choose our characters so I created mine to look like me, he had brown hair, tanned skin and was scowling at me menacingly. Definitely like me.

"Dude why does yours look emo!" Cody laughed. I looked at him unimpressed before laughing a bit. "I don't know I'm usually quite boring."

Cody put his hands on my lips shushing me. He could be funny at times. "Your not boring!" He protested but I just rolled my eyes.

"Anyway! Look at mine it looks so much like me doesn't it?" I instantly started laughing. "Yeah dude because you'd definitely wear them shades and a massive chain around your neck!"

Cody rolled his eyes and removed them before hitting save. We decided to play tomodachi life - my personal favourite!

We made a few of our friends as characters before hitting play, the game started as usual before things slowly turned concerning.

My character decided he wanted to ask out Cody which made us almost cry with laughter.

"No way Noah! It's like it knows we are soulmates!" Cody laughed sarcastically making pouty lips.

He really was spending too much time with me.

"Your character is too hot to handle," I joked pointing at the screen.

Then out of nowhere, Shrek (a character I had made before) and Sierra stepped out both wanting Cody too. We were in a fit of laughter at this point rolling around on the floor.

Cody's character (obviously) chose me and we had to pick a date, Cody wanted to go to a restaurant but I wanted to go to the beach! After squabbling for a while we decided on the restaurant.

Our characters were sat at a table and the date slowly turned into a success!

Cody got pretty bored of the game after we had made them sing and do other stupid stuff so we decided to get some food.

I brought over the tray I had made earlier and Cody looked so excited.
