Chapter 8: Bully Guys and the Demon King

● Warning: Horror and violence⚠️⚠️ ●

(Song of them fighting demon king: They really don't know if they are going to get out of this alive or death by fire!)

Suddenly, at the same moment, an arrow hit the hand the great demon struck at Kira and it roared in pain as it took a few steps backwards.
- What? It can feel pain!? So... And that arrow! It belongs to..
Kira thought in confusion as she rolled back onto her feet as she stared in surprise at the direction the arrow came from. There Sunny stood ready with her bow and arrow against the demon king while she trembled a little, but tried to hide her fear with a little grin.
"M-Missed me?" Sunny said with a grin as a little sweat rolled down her forehead and Kira automatically smiled back without thinking about it.
"Run, Kira!" Lily shouted out as she jumped towards the demon king before it could do any more attacks and she hit it right in the head with her magic staff which released blue magic. Kira nodded at Lily a little uncomfortable at letting her attack it alone, but she managed to force her tired body to run over to Sunny while Lily distracted the demon hitting it over and over again.
"Lily! Come back now!" Sunny shouted firmly as Kira had approached her and Sunny proceeded to shoot two more arrows at the demon's back.
"Okay!" Lily yelled back as she dodged the blows from the demon king's flame hands. She was going to run over to Sunny and Kira who were waiting for her, but of course it wasn't going to be that easy as in no time the big demon king came right after her at full speed. That made Sunny and Kira's eyes widen and they both got ready to fly at the demon king.

"Here it comes!! And here I come!" Danny shouted out as he jumped over Kira and Sunny's heads before running towards the demon king.
"What the hell are you doing, Danny?!" Sunny shouted in shock as she readied her bow again and was surprised to see one of the robbers protecting them.
"Just hold it back then, cutie~!" Danny shouted with a wink to Sunny, but at the same moment he was hiding a stressed grin of fear. He swallowed hard and tried to suppress his fear as he stared into the blood red eyes that bore through his eyes for a moment, but he shook his head and lunged at the demon king just before it caught up with Lily.
"My God. Careful, Danny!! You should get away now!" Sunny yelled anxiously and worriedly to Danny who started to fight the demon king who was now more aggressive on the attack it made.
"Bro! Danny! Back the hell off!" Math roared out in shock as he forced himself to finally run over to the them. He might hate it, but he didn't want to risk losing his only friend.

The demon king started to get faster again and started to hit even faster which made Danny start to struggle more than what Kira did, being the only blow he blocked he managed to slip and stumble backwards.
"I- I can't!" Danny mumbled as he gritted his teeth with horrified eyes as he held his sword in front of him unable to do anything but stumble further and further back.
"Danny!!" Math and Sunny shouted in equal panic as they saw the demon king start to roar loudly. It became more aggressive as it hit the sword he blocked in front of him and sometimes it hit his stomach and the side of his body as he slid backwards. Danny also began to notice that it was more aggressive than some of his own. He tried to stop himself from sliding backwards and knocking it away from him, but before he could do anything the demon king grabbed his sword and pulled him closer so it self. They both made eye contact at that moment.
"O-Oh.. bro.." Danny breathed out in fear stiffening as his eyes narrowed as he stared into the deadly blood red eyes of the demon king. It grinned at him with a dark and terrible grin that would surely give him nightmares for the rest of his life.
"Br- Danny, get away!!" Math shouted in shock as he increased his speed even more to sprint towards his robber friend who was still a few meters away from him.
