The scene opens in Bayville high's auditorium as Principal Kelly is giving out awards for the female soccer season.

Principal Kelly:(Mic) Yes, our girls had a winning soccer season! They though like a team. They played like a team.(Grabs the MVP trophy) And they respected each other as teammates and it's those teammates who unanimously voted their choice for this years most valuable player award, Jean Grey!

We then cut to Jean who was sitting covering her mouth in shock as everyone cheered she soon grew a smile as she stood up to accept the award.

Scott: Way to go, Jean.

Evan then whistles rally loudly beside Kitty and Y/n as they turn to him.

Y/n: Seriously? 

Misty: Way to go, darling! Yeah! Whoo hoo, Jean!

Misty then turns to Rogue who just sat there with a sort of sulk on her face. Misty then nudges her.

Misty: Is this anyway to support your housemate?

Rogue: Perky Jean's got enough people gushing over her.(Eye roll)

Back at the stage Principal Kelly handed Jean the award as she looked at it before looking at the crowd ready to give a little speech to thank everyone.

Jean:(Mic) Uh, thank you, Principal Kelly. And, uh, I want to thank all of you...

She then stops as she hears Rogue.

Rogue: ' Yeah, Jean. Ride that popularity train for all it's worth.'

Jean then looks directly at Rogue as she sits up straight.

Rogue: ' Why is she looking at me?'

Jean: Uh, sorry. I... I want to, uh...

Scott: ' Stay cool, Jean. Don't get stressed.'

Kurt: ' Come on. You can do it.'

Evan: ' Ah, man. Is she freezing up?'

Y/n: ' Stay focused. Come on, Jean.'

Kitty: ' I'm glad that's not me up there.'

Jean: Uh, I... I...

That's when nearly everyone's thoughts began to flood her head as she couldn't think.

Jean: Stop it! (Grabs her head) I can't hear myself think!

Then she accidentally used her powers to flip the table of trophy's to the ground.

Jean's trophy then fell to the ground and broke. Jean then regains control of her powers and just looks at everybody. Scott stands up from his seat worried. Jean then bends down and grabs her trophy.

Jean: Uh, sorry. Loss my head there for a sec.

The crowd then laughs at the joke.

Jean: As I was saying, I would like to thank all my teammates, our coach and everyone who showed up and support us.

 We then cut outside the auditorium as Kitty, Y/n and Evan were having a debate.

Evan: I just think it's unfair that's all. Like, I'd cinch an MVP.

Kitty: Evan, face it. Skateboarding will never be a school sport.

Y/n: Yeah, i'm gonna have to agree with Kitty on that one.
