minho had prepared himself, dressed in an all-black outfit, a gun securely strapped to his legs, and a mask ready to be used.

tonight, they would once again erase another human life from this world.

he let out a sigh, gazing at his hands that had taken so many lives. he hadn't chosen this path; he didn't have a say in this life. the weight of guilt burdened him for his actions, yet a strange satisfaction also gnawed at him. taking the lives of those people brought him an unsettling sense of fulfillment.

a knock sounded from his room, and jeongin's head poked in, letting minho know they were ready to go.

leaving the manor, minho got into a black, bulletproof car. hyunjin occupied the driver's seat, minho sat in the passenger seat, while the other two members sat in the back.

changbin held the vital information about their target for the night. this operation was significant and couldn't be entrusted to the minor members.

their objective tonight was an illegal gambling den. the owner of this den belonged to a rival mafia that was attempting to undermine their operations. this rival group had been recruiting minor members from their ranks and manipulating them into committing crimes similar to their own, aiming to shift the blame onto them.

the situation had escalated beyond control, needing their leader, lee know, to intervene and put an end to it.

-----

it was already evening when jisung received a call from his seniors, instructing him to investigate an illegal gambling den.

this was an undercover assignment, and he was to undertake it alone. the seniors outlined his task: to identify the individuals involved in the illegal gambling activities and uncover the mastermind behind it. he was also ordered to leave as soon as he identify them.

jisung readied himself,  wearing a suit to blend in as one of the rich gamblers. he secured a gun to his ankle, with combat boots concealing the pistol discreetly.

the blonde stepped into his car, driving to the address provided by his seniors. it had been a while since he had been out in the field like this, and he could sense the rush of adrenaline. don't misunderstand him – he enjoyed working in the office, solving cases. however, he also relished the thrill of being out in the field.

-----

after an hour of driving, jisung finally arrived at the location. it was well-concealed, and the manor exuded an air of opulence. upon entering, the interior hardly hinted at its involvement in illegal gambling; instead, it resembled a venue where affluent individuals might hold lavish parties.

he wandered through the premises, examining every aspect of the establishment. upon thorough inspection, he noticed a staircase that descended to what appeared to be an underground section of the manor.

"this is it," he muttered to himself, a quiet nervousness settling in as he worried about the possibility of being recognized.

the upper part of the establishment was indeed just a venue where affluent people hold parties, but the underground of it was where the dirty things happened.

jisung opened the door leading to the gambling den, and as soon as he entered, the smell of illegal drugs greeted him.

he tried to cover his nose, but the odor was extremely strong, so he had no choice but to get used to it. he walked around the area, trying to identify the people involved in this gambling den.

he avoided any drinks that the waiter offered him, staying cautious. he leaned against a wall in the corner, waiting for the gambling to start.

yes, the gambling in this place was different. they didn't play games like poker or the wheel of fortune. instead, they made people play russian roulette and bet on who would survive that round.
