Chapter 24: FULL MOON

Felix isn't sure when he blacked out, but as he woke, the Omega whimpered softly, his muscles aching and his breathing heavy. He felt better than he had in years after shifting. Letting out another whimper, he felt movement behind him, a gentle warmth slowly wrapping over him.

He peeked his eyes open and the first thing he saw was a large Grey and White wolf with piercing sunflower yellow eyes staring down at him. The large Alpha rumbled and pressed close, nuzzling into his neck, snuffling lightly as Felix's white fur tickled his nose.

Before Felix knew what he was doing, he was rolling onto his back, paws batting at the Alpha softly until he stepped over him, laying half over the Omega and beginning to scent him thoroughly.

'Omega' Chan purred through their bond, completely amazed at the sight of the Omega laying beneath him. He couldn't believe what he was seeing. He knew their mate and his wolf were beautiful, but never in his wildest dreams did he think that their Omega would look so ethereal.

Felix was practically glowing in the light of a single lantern sitting on one of the shelves near the front of the cave, his blue eyes piercing in the warm light.

'Alpha' Felix purred back, wriggling about excitedly beneath the heavy wolf. Felix couldn't believe how large the Pack Alpha was and was growing eager to see the rest of their mates.

The Pack Alpha hopped to his feet, circling the white Omega in the nest, nudging, and nuzzling him with his nose trying to get him to his feet. As Felix rolled to his feet, he winced and whimpered softly, muscles straining beneath his own weight.

Chan came to Felix's side, helping to push him to his feet, scenting him some more in praise once he was standing firmly beside him.

The size difference between the two wolves was to be expected, yet a little funny to the Alpha. Felix's head came to the top of his shoulder blade, dwarfed beside Chan in his massive wolf form.

'Come' Chan urged through their bond. He could feel their mate's anticipation rolling into their Den and through their bond. Felix shook himself trying to loosen his muscles before attempting his first steps.

He was getting more excited with every second that passed, eager to see his mates and feel secure in himself for the first time during the Full Moon. Felix's muscles relaxed with every step, but as soon as he reached the mouth of the cave, he hesitated.

'Mate' Chan hovered close, lowering his head to nudge against Felix's. 'Safe' Chan reminded him encouragingly, bumping their noses together gently.

The wolves stood staring at one another for a moment, before a cold breeze blew past them, ruffling their fur, and Felix got a whiff of the most amazing scents he'd ever smelled. His wolf recognized them instantly, but they had never smelled so raw and strong before.

'Mates' Felix's tail was wagging wildly, eager to see the others. He went prancing out of the Den excitedly, bounding over to the group of wolves collected nearby. He stopped suddenly, feeling a little overwhelmed by the sight of the others.

Felix was by far the smallest wolf in the pack, but given their secondary genders, that wasn't too surprising.

'MATE' a large, fluffy ginger and white wolf came pouncing over like an eager puppy, 'Omega' Jeongin stopped in front of the beautiful white wolf, chest to the ground, tail wagging in the air playfully.

If a wolf could giggle, Felix would have. He hopped to his feet quickly before mirroring Jeongin's stance, staring each other down, waiting for the other to make the first move.

Unsurprisingly, it was neither of the playful looking wolves that made the first move, but a large pure black wolf that jumped into view, nudging the Baby Alpha pushing off balance so he rolled onto his side with a playful growl.
