Chapter 27
"I love you mommy." Lacey said as she tightened her grip around me.
"I love you too baby." I said as my eyes shut to hug her.
She never let go. There was something on her mine and I think she misses me. I haven't spent as much time as I usually do with her.
"Well hello beautifuls." Harry said as he walking into the room.
I didn't answer. She still never let go. Guilt flooded over me, a flaw about being a mother. My eyes started to tear up.
"How about I take you out today." I said to her as I rubbed her back. "We can go shopping...like we use too."
She pulled away with a big smile. She nodded. "Can Jacob come?"
"I can call his mom. Maybe we four can go out together." I said smiling, actually excited. She did the same and nodded. "Okay it's a date...kissing?" She kissed me and ran away.
I was left o the ground of the living room after she ran out.
"Are you okay?" I turned to looked at harry.
"Yeah I'm fine." I said trying my hardest to dry my tears unnoticed.
"Come here." He signalled me over. I did so. He patted his lap. I was hesitant but not resistant. I sat down. "If there's something wrong, you can tell me." He said into my ear.
"I just...I love her." I said being 100% truthful.
"I know you do." He placed a kiss on my shoulder then got silent. "She asked my about her father." He said suddenly.
My heart stopped. WHAT?! I tried to stand up but he pulled me back down.
"Oh so that's a sensitive topic." He assumed.
"She asked me too soooo." I said....still being truthful.
"What did you tell her?" He asked.
"I don't want to talk about this." I said standing up forcefully. And I walked upstairs to my room.

I went threw my closet and put a new outfit on. I didn't really care about it being presentable or not, I just threw something on. I walked over to my purse and went threw my coupon book to see if I could get some clothes on sale.
Then there was a knock at the door.
"Come in." I said not taking my eyes off my purse.
The door opened and the person walked inside. They didn't say anything so I just assumed it was Lacey or something. All of a sudden arms were around me. It was harry.
"Hey listen. I'm sorry for earlier." He said into my ear.
"It's okay." I said with my book still in my hands. We were both silent as I kept looking threw it. We were still in the comfortable position though, his arms around me while he rested his head on my shoulder.
"I'm going to miss you." He said.
"It's two hours.....you'll be fine." I spat back, not impressed but his cheesiness.
"Fine. But maybe we can do something afterwards." He said spinning me around with a smirk on his face.
"Or Morgan and Jacob can sleep over making it very difficult to try anything on me." I said with a bitchy tone as I pulled away.
He sighed. "Fine. I'll just have to be alone while my girlfriend is busy with her friends because she has no time for me." He said in a pouty voice.

"Girlfriend?" I slipped out...accidentally.
"Don't worry I'm not cheating on you, it's kind of a nickname I gave you." He said smartly.
"I know what the definition is stupid." I spat.
"Good." He winked. "Because then it will make it easier for me to do...this." He leaned it and when he was inches about from my lips I put my finger against his.
"No it won't." I smirked turning around to finish what I stared.
He was silent for a minute. Probably in shock he, the harry styles, was rejected. But it wasn't long before his arms were around me again and he was attacking my neck with kisses.
"Well then I won't stop till you kiss me." He said in between kisses.
Then the door swung open. "Hey spence, so I was thinking about what you told me about Lacey and..you know, her father and I think you should tell hi-" it was Morgan. She stop right as she saw harry in the room. "Hey harryyyy.."
"Heeeyy morrrgan." He mocked.
"I didn't know you were here." She said unknowingly.
"Well I didn't know you were here." He said, again, mocking her. We all stood there awkwardly. "Well. I'm going to leave you two alone." He said turning to me. He kissed my head then, without losing a fight, he put his hands around my cheeks and forcefully kisses me. "Bye spencer." He said with a smirk. And then he left.
"I am soooo sorry." She cried.

"So...you haven't told him yet.." She said quietly.
"Morgan. I already told you. I'm not going to tell him." I said back forcefully.
"I know! But I think you making a mistake." I said leaning up again the wall.
"Mommy again!" Lacey screamed out from the moving, plastic, horse.
"Here you go." I said handing her another couple quarters.
"You need to. It's not fair to her." She quietly sighed.
"I can't do it. I don't know what will happen." I dropped my head.
"What do you have to loose?" I said as she placed a hand on my back.
I looked up at her. "Him."
All of a sudden my phone buzzed. 1 new message. From harry.

"You're going to tell him!?" Morgan screamed as she read my text.
"Yes."
She smiled then pulled me into a hug. "I'm proud of you. Your doing the right thing."

I was scared. What was going to happen? Will he hate me? Will he leave me? Will he take her from me? I wish I knew. I want to be with him. But I'm doing this for her.
We were back in the car now. I want to tell her but I think it's best if he knows first.
"Okay. Take a deep breath. You can do this. Just tell him. Don't hesitate. Just do it." I said quietly to myself.
We drove up the drive way. It was a too short of a drive. I don't think I'm ready. But it's now or never.
"Common Lacey." We both got out of the car as slowly as possible.
When we walked threw the door everyone was acting normal. I was the only one who is the stressed out one. I gave Lacey to Niall and went to find harry.
He wasn't in his room...strangely. After want felt like seconds I found him. He was in the backyard. I walked outside to find him sitting on the swinging bench.
"Hey." I said softly.
He looked up at me. "Hey." He returned the quietness.
"What's wrong?" I said walking closer to him.
"I've been thinking...about our conversation earlier."
"That's what I want to talk to you about to." I said.
"Are we together?" He asked. I was a little confused, I thought he was referring to Lacey's dad but I guess not.
"I don't think you'll want to be after what I tell you." I looked down at my hands in my lap.
He placed his hands on mine. "I'll never leave you." He said with a smile.
"Don't make a promise you can't keep." I said looking back at him.
"What is wrong?" He was confused now.
Now or never.
"I'm sorry."
