Chapter three

"When is he gonna come? it's getting ridiculous at this point"

It has almost been one or two weeks that all of us have been stuck in this palace,most women have been complaining a lot today that the emperor is just playing a game with them while the guards have been trying to calm them down and they all just say the same thing

"His majesty is busy with the empire to come but he will tomorrow"

I actually really do not care if he will come or not,in fact . . . I would be more happier if he does not show up at all

I really miss xiaoyues voice and giggles,mamas delicious cooking,dadas usual jokes,Lin running around dancing with xiaoyue,Li and hua visiting us and making the mood of the house more comfortable,heng and mings usual teasing,feng visiting us and always annoying me

I didn't notice that I was zoning out while smiling and staring at nothingness

It wasn't until the women next to me,meiling,tapped me on the shoulder elegantly,causing me to get out of my daydream and focus back onto the boring reality

"Lady Mingyue you have been zoning out for a little bit long for now is everything alright?",meiling looked at me with a kind smile and a slightly worried expression before sipping on her lavender flavored tea

Meiling is twenty six and she had been married once to a jerk that left her for a seductress women,meiling is the second princess of Dali,mostly known for how mature and kind she is,she was actually forced to come here because of her father

"Everything is fine Lady meiling I was just thinking a bit. . . But has there been any news about the emperor visiting us or anything lately that has been informed to you?",the reason why asked is because lady meiling here is one of the most well known women  and I thought that maybe they would inform her earlier than most of us

"No not really . . . I just really hope that this gets over soon and I can go back to my normal life",lady meiling said with a wide smile as she placed her pink colored cup back in place

I am assuming that she also wishes that she can go back to her own home

"I have been thinking the same thing as well",i say with smile,I looked around the room a bit,every women was dressed up a little to much also most of everyone was wearing lots of gold and jewelry

I really do not like jewelry a lot,in fact I hate it because it itches so much and is just uncomfortable at most times

But silver,silver in my opinion is much better,it kinda of makes me shine better than gold,I feel more comfortable in silver

I slowly stared out the window, one thing I really liked when I stepped inside this palace are the big gardens and water fountains,along with that small pond at the backyard

The gardens around here are all connected,it's really amazing to walk out there,i usually take a walk outside every early morning when I take a bath,a few months ago the dark blonde hair dye in my hair slowly faded away and I was back in my real hair color

It was a light brown,it kinda reminded me of chocolate,but it was curly and it passed my shoulders,I am actually kinda glad the dye died down,but I really want to dye it again

Maybe I should try black next time

Just as I was lost in hundreds of random thoughts the door pushed open and revealed one of the emperors most trusted men,general jia hao,he looked pissed off and that usually dead glare was on his face

It creeped me out but I have been used to it ever since arriving here

"His majesty will coming here shortly after dinner tonight,please prepare yourselves",he said with a cold expression and his voice was deep,he stared off at one of the soldiers before tilting his head to the side,signaling him to follow him,the soldier nodded before both left the room

Leaving every single woman in that room in shock,most woman Immediately started to look at each other and whisper among themselves
