Nico:
Will and I are going on a date. That I asked him on. And we kissed. And you liked the kiss!! I don't know how I feel about any of this other than I liked the kiss!I can't tell Will that I liked kissing him because what if he doesn't think the same thing. That would be so embarrassing. Like I think I would die on the spot.
But I need to think about something other than the kiss because now we're on the way to the garden. I'm actually really excited, I mean who wouldn't be though. I get to hang out with Will and go to a botanical garden which is something I've never done.
"Hey Nico," Will says grabbing my attention. "Do you want aux or should I just play my playlist?"
"Oh yours is fine," I say. Mainly I just want to know what kind of music he listens to because it says a lot about a person. And I trust that his music won't make my ears bleed.
"Ok!" he says with a smile on his face and presses play on his playlist. The song is Our Song by Taylor Swift. And honestly out of all her music it's not that bad.
His playlist was actually really good even though it was music I don't normally listen to. But then Tyler, the Creator started to play and I got really excited. He's one of my favorite artists and Will listens to him too.
"You listen to Tyler?" I say excited.
"Duh, he's a lyrical genius with amazing instrumentals!"
"I know right! What's your favorite song by him?"
"Oh I'd say definitely Find Your Wings. All of his music is amazing but that one has to be my favorite, what about you?"
"It's so hard to choose but I think November." I say.
He hums, "Mhm that one's really good too!"
Before we know it we're at the botanical garden and super happy that we found an artist we have in common. We walk in and go to the front desk to pick up our tickets, which I didn't know we needed.
"Um, Will," I say to get his attention. "I didn't know I needed a ticket for this."
He smiles and laughs, "Don't worry about it. I already bought both of our tickets, we just have to pick them up."
"Oh, thank you! I'll buy the ice cream then," I said embarrassed that I didn't know we had to have tickets. I hope they weren't super expensive.
"No, this dates on me," he says. He's so sweet!
"Thanks but I have to repay you some way," he looked like he was going to protest so before he could I say, "Just let me make dinner tonight."
"Well I'd never turn done a home cooked meal but you don't have to. It's fine really."
"No I want to," I say with a smile. I really did want to, not just to repay him but I've been wanting to cook recently.
"Ok if you're sure. We can stop by the store on the way to my place," he says.
We get our tickets and walk into the garden. It was so pretty. I loved flowers so much and there were so many different types here. They had all different color roses and tulips and the prettiest chrysanthemum I'd ever seen.
"Will this is so amazing, all the flowers are gorgeous," I say in awe. There were definitely stars in my eyes.
"You like it? I wasn't sure if you would," he says sounding nervous. I can just imagine him rubbing the back of his neck while saying that.
"Like it? Will, I love it!" and I did. I was genuinely happy, surrounded by pretty flowers and a pretty boy. Honestly what more could I ask for?
We walked around the garden for awhile, mostly me dragging Will to whatever flowers caught my eye. When we were near the exit I saw a huge willow tree and it was breathtaking.
"Oh wow," I hear Will say under his breath. I couldn't help but nod in agreement. After we looked at the tree for a few minutes we leave.
When we're in the parking lot Will goes and opens my door for me, I blush obviously and thank him. He runs to his side of the car and gets in with a huge smile on his face. He presses play on his music and we set off to the ice cream parlor.

We get out of the truck and walk into the parlor. There were so many different flavors and I was struggling to decide so I asked Will what he was getting."I'm getting Moose Tracks, what about you?" he says happily.
My two options were moose tracks and mint chocolate chip. "I'm going to get mint chocolate chip," I decided since he got moose tracks.
"That was my second choice," he says and then orders both of our ice cream. Once we have our ice cream we go sit at a booth at the back of the shop.
"So," Will says, "what are you gonna make for dinner?"
"Well there's a few options so I guess whatever you want from my ideas," I say with a shrug. I really hope one of these sounds good to him.
"What's the options?" he say excitedly.
"Um I was thinking white chicken chili, beef and rice skillet, or chicken pot pie casserole. Hmmm, or maybe chicken and gnocchi. Oh! Or we could do pepper steak!" I list some options.
He just started at me and I was worried he didn't want any of those so I said, "or you know we could do something simple if you don't want those. Like baked potatoes or pizza." I shrug afterwards to make sure it seems like I don't care either way.
"Nico," he says in a very serious voice, "all of those sound amazing. How am I supposed to decide?"
I was so relieved he said they all sounded good. Hopefully he thought they tasted good too. "I'm glad you think it all sounds good but we need to know what to buy from the store," I say.
"Hmmm, I kinda want the pot pie casserole. It sounds really good. And we eat pot pie a lot back home," he says.
"Back home?" I question taking a bite of my ice cream.
"Yeah, I grew up in Texas. I tried to force myself out of the accent but it's still there," he says with a light laugh.
"Now that you say that, I hear the accent. I guess I just never noticed before," I say. This made me wonder if I still had an accent and just couldn't tell. I mean it didn't matter either way, I just never thought about it.

We finish are ice cream and get in his truck to go grab the stuff I need to cook from the store. I want this to be a quick trip so I have more time to cook. As soon as we stop I'm walking to the door with Will close behind.I grab the rolls, chicken, broth, green beans, peas, carrots, and tiny potatoes. I walk to the spice aisle and turn to Will to ask what kind of seasoning he has but he's not there. I decided to walk around the store to see if I could find him and when I did I noticed a girl talking to him.
As I get closer I start to hear their conversation and it sounded like the girl was asking for Will's snap and he was trying to let her down. I would normally not intervene in this situation but I really wanted to get to his house and cook.
"Oh, Will there you are! I was looking for you," I say catching both of their attention. Will looks relieved when he sees me.
"Who are you? And how do you know Will?" the girl asks me. And damn do I hate jealous bitches.
"He's my boyfriend, duh," I say as though it's obvious.
"No cause I'm his girlfriend!" she insists. I laughed in her face when she said that because who does she think she is? Cause she's not her that's for sure.
"No you're not," Will says, "because that's my boyfriend and I told you that earlier but you weren't listening."
"Ugh, whatever!" she says with an eye roll and continues to stand there and stare at us.
I grabbed Will's arm and turn to him, "I needed to know what spices you have at your place so I know what I need to buy for dinner."
We start walking to the spice aisle so he can look and see what he has. He looks and says, "I have salt, pepper, and garlic powder but that's it."
To be honest I was offended that was all he had so I grabbed an onion powder, chives, chicken seasoning, and and Italian herb mix. I figured this should be fine to start off with. Especially if I start cooking there more often. We checked out and walked to his car to leave.
