The drive home from the mall was kind of awkward but Matt knew exactly what to do about it. He turned on some Taylor Swift and we were all jamming out with the dirty windows rolled down. We get out and it's different, Matt opens my door. LIKE CHRIS'S BROTHER MATT. I thank him for opening the door as I followed him inside and ran up to Nick's room to call Lauren. I told her what happened and she absolutely flipped. "HE OFFERED TO PAY FOR YOU?? AND OPENED YOUR DOOR?" I had the exact same reaction she did, and that's why we're best friends. She just gets me and most people don't, I love her with all my heart. "I KNOW DUDE I ALWAYS LIKED CHRIS BUT WHAT DO I DO ABOUT MATT." I moaned. "AHHH Y/N MAYBE ITS ALWAYS BEEN THE OTHER BROTHER." She says as I hear matt rattling the door handle "Can I come in??" Of course you can pookie. "GOT TO GO TTYL LOVE YOU" I say to Lauren running to unlock the door and hiding my phone so he doesn't see the "Uhm Lauren so much tea about Matt. Call me rn" text. "Y/n we need to talk" Chills ran up my body when he said that. "u- uh okay what's up??" He dragged me on to Nick's bed.  "Y/n I like you. I really really like you and I always have. It pained me to watch you and Chris flirt all the time but I never said anything because I didn't want to be a home wrecker to my own brother and my brothers best friend. I need to know if I should throw this crush that I've had on you for years away so you can be with my brother. It physically hurts me to say it but whatever makes you happy is what I want for you." Matt likes me. He actually likes me. I thought it was always Chris but it's Matt. I try to get words out and I just can't. As I stare into his eyes that have never looked so pretty I can feel him coming in to kiss me, I back away slowly but I can't. He has his right hand on my neck and I can't escape his gorgeous eyes and beautiful smile. As we start to kiss I can feel his hand playing with my hair and rubbing my neck while our lips are on each others our hands interlock and I've never been happier. But all of the sudden the happiness stops. I hear someone try to unlock the door so Matt quickly runs up to get it and I run to the bathroom to hide. Matt opens the door to see Chris asking where I am "Oh she may be in my roo- in the bathro- check downstairs" Matt quickly closes the door and I run out of the bathroom laughing. "Way to go ace now he's gonna go check your roo- the bathroom- and downstairs for me" I mock him as I walk back to the bed. "Matt I like you too. I always thought I liked Chris but I know its always been you. And I had no idea you felt like that about me and Chris and I'm so sorry you felt like that, I wanna be with you Matt. It's always been you."
