It had been a week since you and Jungkook admitted your feelings for each other, but you still didn't talk about how you're gonna resolve the current situation. The only thing you agreed upon that night was to pretend that nothing happened.
The next morning and every other morning after that, you two would go about with your business. You still continued to ignore him each day, and he did the same. He would always be by Fiona's side and despite knowing his real feelings for you, seeing him with your sister still pains you. The fear that Jungkook wouldn't be able to back out from the wedding terrorize you so much that it would often cause you to space out and return to your senses crying.
The only thing that was keeping you calm each day was the fact that you and Kook always meet at night, when every one else was asleep. You both decided to see each other at your secret garden each night, just cherishing each other after a day of ignoring one another.
"What are you thinking?" Jungkook whispered in your ear as you stared at the falling leaves from the trees around you.
Today, you both decided to be extra sneaky and took Hope to take you to the clearing the four of you went before.
You just smiled and closed your eyes, leaning back to Jungkook's chest.
You took a deep breath, letting the cold air fill your lungs while Jungkook gently brush your head from your face.
"Nothing," you replied, feeling content. "I'm not thinking anything . "
" You can't fool me, Y/N. I know you enough to know that something is troubling you." Jungkook touched your face and made you look at him. When you turned to look at him, he was smiling at you but he also look worried.
Wanting to take that worry off his face, you sighed and just spilled what was troubling you.
"Okay, fine. I'm scared, Jungkook," you averted your eyes from his and looked up at the dark sky.
The moon that was shining brightly down on you reminded you of that night, when you finally admitted to each other how you really feel.
"Scared? Of what?" You heard Jungkook asked.
"Of this. Of the future. Of us," you whispered. "I'm scared about what will happen if anyone finds out about this. I'm scared that we wouldn't be able to stop your marriage with my sister. And I'm scared because I really don't want to hurt my sister. And by doing this, I know that we'll end up hurting her . "
You felt Jungkook's finger touched your cheek and you realized that you were already crying.
"Don't be scared," he said in a soft voice. Placing a kiss on your head, he held you tighter. "I don't want to hurt Fiona too. I care about your sister too, and I don't want to be the reason for her pain, but by pushing through the wedding, it will only cause more pain for all of us. And don't worry, I'll find a way. I'll stop this wedding, no matter what . "
You simply nodded, trusting him with all your heart.
"Just hold on, Y/N. Trust in our relationship. I know we can do something about this . "
"Okay," you said, turning to look straight into his eyes.
Jungkook smiled down at you before placing a chaste kiss on your lips.
