Danielle: "She's working on it for me."
Russell: "Cool. I hope you were subtle."
Danielle: "I didn't have to be, not with her. She's the one who has to be delicate."
Russell: "Does she know how to do that?"
Danielle: "Nope."
Russell: "What... did you just tell her that you hang around a couple of guys and we all talk about dead people?"
Danielle: "I put more of a true crime spin on it, but yeah."
Russell: "And she wasn't freaked out?"
Danielle: "She works for the APD. What hasn't she seen? She did say she'd like to join us some time, but not at a coffee shop."
Russell: "Not into coffee?"
Danielle: "She's more of a whiskey girl. I can respect that."
Russell: "No tequila?"
Danielle: "When a Hispanic woman says she likes whiskey, there is a very dark story in her life that involves tequila. It's best not to ask. But she did tell me one other interesting thing."
Russell: "Oh?"
Danielle: "Is Connor coming? I feel like I'm being unfaithful."
Russell: "We can wait if you'd like..."
Danielle: "Yeah, let's do that."
Russell: "Okay. So, how's work been for you?"
Danielle: "It's been good, but it makes me appreciate the relationship I have with you two. Nobody at work wants to talk about death or murder."
Russell: "Boring."
Danielle: "I mean, I get it. It's gruesome. But I do appreciate having somebody else to share this obsession with."
Russell: "Have you always been a fan of true crime?"
Danielle: "Yes. No? I don't know? This whole ordeal is resonating with me, though. It's like something I've experienced before. And it hits closer to home, you know?"
Russell: "I get it."
Danielle: "I think that's why I'm obsessed with it all of a sudden."
Russell: "Yeah, I'm dwelling on it a lot more than is entirely healthy."
Danielle: "And when I'm at work, what do I say? 'How did you spend your weekend?' 'Oh you know, talking about two murders that may or may not be related. Making friends along the way.'"
Russell: "Sounds like a good time to me."
Danielle: "You need to get out more."
Russell: "I'm trying. I even had a pupusa a couple of nights ago."
Danielle: "A pu-what? You need to be careful where you go out."
Russell: "A Salvadoran lady and her family have a food truck that I tried. It's like cheese cooked inside a thick tortilla."
Danielle: "I can't believe you had Salvadoran food without me."
Russell: "We've been saying we need to get out. Maybe we can all go food truck hopping one Saturday. Invite your friend. Does she like food?"
Danielle: "Of course she does."
Russell: "Connor's here. Let's make him some room."
Danielle: "In other words, Danielle, move your bag. Got it."
