Chapter 6

The full moon was tonight and I was not ready for that.

I was so tired, I felt pain all over my body. It had never been that bad. Usually I just couldn't sleep.

Clara was already asleep, leaving me alone with my own thoughts.

I thought about wandering around the school, but I didn't want to get another detention. It was just third week of school.

Luckily it was Saturday night so I knew I could sleep as much as I wanted the next day.

I sat on my windowsill, holding onto my legs that were hurting the most. The second most hurtful was my chest and shoulders. I rubbed them from time to time, trying to ease the pain.

I looked at the full moon, cursing it under my breath. I hated it and loved it. It was really beautiful but the pain I felt in that moment made me hate it.

I took my diary again, looking at it and realizing that I needed to buy a new one. It was almost full.

I started to draw the moon and the dark forest that was glowing under the moonlight. Somewhere deep down I hoped to see some creatures, but I didn't saw any.

After a while the sun started to rise and the pain started to soothe away. It was around six in the morning when I got back to bed.

I laid down and Ginger jumped on the bed. He curled up next to me and just like that we both fell asleep.

That day I was not feeling like going to the Great Hall. Thankfully, Clara was nice enough to bring me food to our dorm.

We spent the day just hanging in our dorm or sleeping. I watched as she got ready for her party that Ravenclaw's held tonight.

I helped her to choose the best outfit and did her eyeliner for her.

"Are you sure you don't want to come? Maybe a drink or two helps a bit"

"No, I am really tired. I'll stay with Coco and Ginger. Probably take a relaxing bath and stuff"

"Alright" she said and put on her high heels. "If there is something then...I don't know, call for help"

"Oh you and your good advice once again"

We both laughed and then bid goodbye.

I took a deep breath before closing my eyes for a moment. I got up from the bed after few minutes and ran a bath for myself.

I applied face mask on my face, took two fresh towels and a glass of cold water. I lit the candles in the bathroom and shut the main lights.

I put my hair up in a bun and stepped into the bath, relaxing as the hot water covered my body. Immediately I felt my muscles relaxing.

"Coco, don't you dare to jump into this water" I said as she jumped on the edge of the bathtub.

"You are one young and stupid cat, you know that? I think you do"

He thankfully didn't jump into the water. He lost interest quickly and went to bother Ginger. I took my wand from the ground and put on the record that we had in our room.

John Lennon started singing;

I had my eyes closed as I sang every word of this song along.
