Chapter 10~Fearless

          

I walked throught the door to my house and Charlie was setting in the living room "Hey Megan" he said, I knew he wanted to ask about Bella "Hey Dad" I smiled "Hows Bella?" he asked bingo I thought, "She's still pretty bad' his face dropped "Do you think she will get better?" he asked hopful, I looked at him "I hope" was all I could say "Me too" I just stood there for a moment before going up stairs to my room.

"Hey are you ok?" I looked around my room startled only to see Jacob lounging quit comfortibly on my bed "How did you?" "Window" he said, I looked at the window that was open, I laughed "Of course" he smiled "Hows Charlie?" he asked, I sighed "Pretty upset, I have no idea what story their going to tell him" Jacob sighed "He deserves the truth" I looked at him "You and me both know thats a bad idea, plus it's probably violating both the vampire rules and werewolf" he rolled his eyes "Screw the rules" I sat next to him "I want to tell him the truth to but I don't think now is a very good time" "Your probably right" he said looking at me "When am I not?" I said nudging him, he laughed "Charlie's comming up!" I said jumping up in alarm "Calm down it's not like I'm Edward" he scoffed "I know but are you forgetting that he didn't see you come in through the door?" I told him "Oh yeah" he said smiling, I smiled back and rolled my eyes "Quick in here" I said gesturing him to hide in my closet "But-" he started but got cutt off by Charlie knocking on the door "Hey Megs can I come in?" he asked, "Just a minute" I called, pushing Jake in my closet and closing the door "Come in" I told him ploppin on my bed and grabbing a book pretending to read.

"Hey, I have to go to the station are you going to be ok here?" he asked concerned "Yeah dad I'll be fine, I am fifteen" he laughed "Ok just making sure" he said holding his hands up in surrendor, he started to walk out the door but stopped halfay "Hey, I love you" he said seriously, I looked up and smiled "Love you too dad" he smiled and walked out of my room, I waited until I heard his police car leave before opening the door to my closet.

"You know you have a lot of clothes in there" Jacob said stumbling out, I laughed as he got one of my jackets off of his head. "You know what? What do you think of doing something fun today?" he said holding out his hand for me to take "Hmmm what do you have in mind?" I said placing my hand in his "You'll see" he smiled and walked over to the window "We arn't seriously going to jump out are we?" I asked looking down my window to the ground "Hold on tight" he said as he put his arm around my waist "Wait-" but in one swift moment we were outside my house "This is just step on of the fun" he said smiling "Oh god" I muttered, he laughed "Oh yeah".

We finally got to where we were going, I looked around the surroundings, the woods were behind us and in front of us a....Cliff? "Hey Jacob, Megan!" Seth said excitedly "Hey Seth" we both replied "Seth come on it's your turn!" Embry called "Alright!" Seth yelled, than he ran over the edge of the cliff and landing in the water. "Oh my god" was all I could say, it was a long way down to the water.

"Wait a second we're not going to do that are we?" I asked looking at Jacob, who smiled "What's wrong Megan you afraid of water?" Embry teased "Pffft No" I said waving my hand off "Don't worry I'll be with you the whole time" Jacob said holding my hand "Come on Megan you'll love it!" Seth said excitedly walking over toward Embry "Ok fine i'll jump, score one for peer preasure" Embry laughed "You sure?" Jacob asked smiling "Let's do it" I said smiling and just like that we jumped, Jacob held my hand the whole time as promised and to be honest, it was amazing.

"That was awesome!" I exclaimed as we walked up the La push beach "So does that mean you liked it?" he said smiling "Defnitely" I said pulling him into a kiss, I put my arms around his neck as he put his on my waist "Ewww get a room" Embry teased, I pulled back from our kiss and laughed "I'm so gonna kill him" Jacob said with a smile "Well you have my premmision" he laughed and chased Embry "Hey, thanks Megan now I know our friendship means alot" Embry said pretending to be hurt, Seth rolled his eyes "That was pretty cool of you to jump, it took Leah like two weeks before she did" Seth chuckled "Good to know" I said smiling as I watched Jacob and Embry goofing around. "Hey Seth can I ask you something?" I said turning to him "Sure" he shrugged "Are you guys ever going to return to Sams pack?" I asked him, he thought about it "If Jacob continued to stay the alpha I know for a fact Embry and Quil would join" I nodded "Were is Quil anyway?" Seth smiled "He's with Claire doing god knows what, their probably having a tea party" I laughed.

Jacob and Embry started walking towards us "We better get you home before Charlie gets home" he said smiling "That would be a good idea" I turned to Seth and Embry "It was nice seeing you guys, tell Quil I said hey" They smiled "Well do" Seth said and me and Jacob started heading for my house.

Charlie wasn't going to be home until later that night so Jacob and I were just lounging around watching a movie when the phone rang "I'll get it" I said getting up and picking up the phone

"Hello?" I answered

"Hey Megan" Said an unfamilar voice "Hey, umm who is this?" the person on the other line giggled "It's Bella silly" I gasped "You sound so different"

"I know, I look different to" she said "So is everything ok?" I asked her "Oh yeah everything is fine, Renesmee is growing so fast" she said happily "Hey Megan?" she asked "Yeah?"

"Jasper said that it seems like I have as much self controle as a vampire who is over a hundred years old" I smiled "Really?" "Yeah, ugh Emmett wants to talk to you realy quick" she said annoyed

"Hey Megan" Emmetts voice said over the phone "What's up Emm?" he sighed over the phone "I was looking forward to Bella being all crazy and everything but now she has super self controle and now she's boring" I could just see Bella hitting him across the arm "Oh yeah and she's mean" he added, I laughed "So your my favorite Swan now" I grinned "Sweet" I said, he pretended to clear his throat "Arn't you going to say I'm your favorite Cullen?" he asked "I don't have a favorite Cullen" I said as Jacob gave me a weird look "Suree you don't, I do beat Edward though right?" I rolled my eyes "Sure Emm, whatever gets you through the day" he laughed "Ok well something tells me Bella wants the phone back, other than her hitting me every two seconds" he said annoyed. "Hey Megan it's Bella agian" I laughed "Hey Bella? Does this mean I can come see you?" There was a pause, she was probably looking over at Jasper "Maybe" she said happily. "Ok well let me know" I said excitedly "Ok I well Bye Megan, love you" I smiled "Love you too, bye" I said as I hung up the phone.

"So what was that about?" Jacob said curously "They said Bella has some weird gift of super controle or whatever" I told him "What does that mean?" he asked "I guess it means she can controle herself, so maybe she could be around humans after all" he rolled his eyes "Sure she can" I sighed "Jacob she is still Bella" I told him, he frowned "I know but she's also a vampire now" I didn't really want to agrue with him now, so I just kind of dropped the subject.

The rest of the night we spent watching movies until Charlie got home, Jacob kissed me goodbye than jumped out the window. "I love you" he told me before he left "I love you too" I said kissing him.
