All the girls, plus Cam and Steven, are on the deck whilst the Fisher boys play football.

I'm sat on the floor whilst Shayla french braids my hair and Nicole is stood behind Shayla doing her hair. I can't help but feel warm when I think about it, it's nice having friends like this. Back home, I only have Ellie.

"Oh, okay, but did you know that she was one of the last people to visit Lindsay Lohan's beach club in Mykonos before it closed," Gigi tells Shayla.

"Are you serious?" She sighs, "oh my God, I'd die for Lindsay. Ugh, she's a Queen."

"Ibiza is superior, though," Nicole comments.

"As if," Shayla disagrees.

"You don't agree?" Nicole asks, shocked.

"No." Shayla ties the end of my hair and pats my shoulder to let me know she's done before she turns to Steven, "back me up."

"Yes, no, I...yes, I agree," Steven stutters, having no idea what's going on.

"He has no clue," I grin up at Steven.

"He's lost," Gigi nods, agreeing.

"Ha, 'yes, no, yes, I agree'," Nicole smirks.

"Shut up," Shayla rolls her eyes at Nicole.

"Doesn't know what he's talking about," Nicole looks down at Steven.

"He knows what he's talking about," Shayla smacks the other girl's arm. "He's on my side."

I look over at Belly, who has been silent in the entire conversation, to see she's watching Conrad and Jeremiah playing football with a smile on her face. Cam Cameron noticed too, looking sad. The poor boy, she's leading him on for a taken guy.

"How's Conrad been?" Nicole asks.

She must've noticed how he's been a little moodier this summer. After all, her and Conrad are friends after he stepped in to take her to her deb last year when her date bailed.

Before I can answer, Belly does, "yeah, no, he's really hard to read sometimes. Like all the time." Not really, if you know him well enough. I always see through his bullshit.

"Anyways, how are you and Conrad doing?" Shayla asks me, wiggling her eyebrows.

I laugh at her before answering, very aware of Belly's stare in the side of my head, "actually, uh, we're official."

The girls, minus Belly, all squeal.

"Omg, finally," Gigi winks.

"Since when?" Shayla asks.

"Yesterday, he took me on a picnic date-"

"Where?" Nicole asks, a big smile on her face, wanting the details.

"The cliff looking over the beach," I blush.

"Ugh, cute," Gigi says, leaning back as she sips her drink.

"And he asked you to be his girlfriend?" Shayla guesses.

"Technically, he asked if he could be my boyfriend," I clarify.

"Aww, that's somehow so much better, you know?" Nicole glances at the girls and we all nod.

Cam Cameron then comes back over and hands Belly some water, "you may want to hydrate."

"Cam Cameron," she squishes his cheeks. "You are so sweet, isn't he sweet?"

We all agree, knowing that she is very drunk and he is trying to sober her up a bit.

"Uh, do you want to go for a walk on the beach?" Cam Cameron suggests.

I feel really bad for the boy. He's so sweet and polite and I thought they were so cute together, but now I think she still likes Conrad and is just leading him on.

"Belly, by the way, I love that dress," Shayla compliments.

"Really? Thanks, I...Taylor got it for me, actually," she tells her.

"Mm, Taylor has great taste," Shayla nods.

"Yeah, I know right?" Belly agrees. "She totally does. You know what, you and Taylor are, like, twins. Because you're both mega-fashiony, and you're both, like, baddies, wouldn't you say, and you both like the same summer boys, which is..."

"We do?" Shayla laughs, confused.

Shit. She doesn't know? Oh, Steven...

Cameron stands, trying to get her to go to the beach for their walk.

"No, no, no, Cam, I'm talking. One sec," Belly turns back to us girls. "Look, Shayla, like, don't worry, because my brother is an idiot. And it didn't mean anything. It didn't mean anything."

"Let's go for a walk," Cam Cameron tries again.

"Wait, what didn't mean anything?" Shayla asks.

"Them-them kissing," Belly waves her hand. "He, like, loves you. He loves you. And...wait, does anyone want another drink? I want another drink," she calls as Cameron leads her away.

"Shit, Shay, I'm sorry. I thought he told you," I apologise.

"You knew?" she asks me.

"Yeah, I'm sorry, it wasn't my story to tell, I thought Steven would've," I explain.

"That's okay, I'm not mad at you," she smiles and I smile back.

"We're gonna go though," Nicole says, giving me an apologetic smile.

"Yeah, 'course, I'll walk you guys out?"

"Thanks," Gigi says standing up.

I walk the girls back up to the garden and wait whilst they all collect their things.

Then Belly and Cam come over.

"Wait, everyone's leaving. Tell them not to go, tell them not to leave," she looks at Cam.

"Uh, stay you guys," the boy tries.

"Uh, Shayla doesn't feel good," Nicole tells the drunk girl. "I think we had a little too much."

Belly then tries to convince us she feels great, even though she's slurring a lot, and I walk the girls back to the front where they have an uber waiting, leaving Belly and Cameron alone.

I walk the girls to the front of the house and hug them all goodbye before going back to the house.

I run into Steven on the way, "hey, where's-"

I cut him off, knowing what he was going to ask, and point behind me, "leaving, so hurry. Talk to Shay."

He looks confused but nods and runs past me, calling out to the girls.

I decide to go find Conrad, who I think is out on the beach with Jeremiah, but then I hear the shower start up.

I keep walking, with the plan to go look for Connie on the beach, when a familiar voice calls my name.

I turn around and see Conrad poking his head around the outdoor shower, now shirtless again but still wearing his swimming shorts.

"Join me?"
