Chapter 3

"Ek kaam Karo kheer bana dho" sudha said to her daughter in law for her phele rasoi, Ishika wanted to cook all the breakfast but it was already done by the workers and she had to make only a sweet dish

"By the time you make kheer let me arrange bowl to serve it" sudha said taking out the bowl and arranging it in a tray, Ishika had no idea the bowl her mother in law was taking out was used once in a year for guests

The special designer bowl was always kept in the top shelf and was used only for special guests, sudha had this attraction towards kitchen items, even she didn't let her own children's touch that

"You know Ishu, Ishaan was 2 years when he first tasted kheer and from then till now he loves kheer" sudha said observing her daughter in law making kheer like the way Ishaan like it, roasted dry fruits

"I didn't believe when he said he had girlfriend and wanted to get marry, he barely had 2 to 3 friends, I thought he was joking until the next day he bought you home" sudha said, Ishika looked at her and smiled, sudha kept on talking about the past and made jokes of her own son

By the time they finished the kheer they ended up enjoying eachother's company, sudha had seen Ishika from near from when she was a kid, when Ishaan said he wanted to marry her she didn't even think twice before saying yes, who can be more suitable than Ishika to be their daughter in law

Ishika was everything they asked for, moreover they saw the happyness and glow on their son face after so many years, if she can bring happiness in his life and she was happy as much as he was, they had no rights to say no

"He was very poor in studies and sports, he was always attached to electronic gadgets, all the time on phone and computer, who knew the same computer would become his future" sudha said severing the kheer in the bowl, she could say by the aroma that how good kheer was

"You might be proud now he is known as the computer genius" Ishika said and sudha smiled being proud of his son

"I am proud of him but what's the use of being a computer genius when he brings coriander leaves when I told him to bring carry leave and bring carry leave when I said to bring coriander" sudha said dropping her shoulder, Ishika laughed so hard on her words that whole house was echoing with her laugh, sudha also joined her

Meanwhile people sitting on the dinning table wonder what's so funny going on with mother in law and daughter in law duo

"Ya kheer bana rahe hai, Ya joke bana rahe hai?" Anitha asked to her father who was as confused as her

"Jarur Ishaan ki baat ho Rai hogi" Akash Ahuja said eyeing his son who was busy checking his phone, Ishaan looked up from his phone sensing his father's eyes

"What? Why are you seeing me like that" Ishaan said and kept his phone on the table before his mother India break that phone

Sudha had warned everyone not to touch phone on dinning table and No work talks
