"What happened?" I ask Namrata as she is groaning with books around her

"What happened?" I ask Namrata as she is groaning with books around her. She looks at me, rocking our son in her lap. "You seem troubled in subjects?"

She grunts. "I skipped many classes when Dev fell ill and I am not able to understand these," she says as she puts the books over Dev's stomach who is sleeping. "I need to complete these today or else I won't be able to cover the syllabus before exams."

I sit on the bed in front of her, "Don't worry. Let me see-"

"You don't understand this. You are a technical student and I am a commerce student," she says.

I chuckle. "What do you study?"

"I continued CA here," she mumbles with a smile, the happiness to achieve her dream is all over her face. "I thought my education ended but Ayaan managed to get all my certificates and helped me get admission here."

I nod. "I used to teach you in the first year," I whisper.

"It was basic concepts which will be taught common to all students from different backgrounds. But now, it's depth. You can't," she mumbles.

I sigh. "Can I arrange someone for you?"

"Will they ask me to pay?"

I smile shaking my head. "They won't. I have a friend here. He will tutor you until you get done with your exams," I tell her with a smile.

"Okay," she agrees and pats Dev's chest, "When will he come?"

"I will call him," I mutter and hold her hand. She looks up with innocence which she hides quickly. "I love you."

She looks away. "I can't love you again."

"My love is abundance, Princess. It will be enough for both of us,"

"Why did you kill my father?"

"I know you trust me but I want you to admit it for yourself, then I will tell you."

Getting on my feet, I walk out and call my PA. He takes it to the first ring, "Good Morning, Sir," he greets.

"I don't care what it takes but I want you to contact the best teacher in London to teach my wife," I order him. "In an hour, he should be here."

"Okay, Sir. Anything else?"

I look at the mini fridge and smile, "Send some ice cream buckets," I dismiss the call once he agrees to do it.

I resume my work while Namrata continues to study in the bedroom after helping Dev lie down on the bed peacefully. It's surprising to see my baby like a wife taking care of our baby. I just want to peek through the past at the times she needed me. Like-like really how did she manage?
