chloe's pov

"you're pregnant"

i look at her taken aback

"are you joking?"

"no, these are the results" she says putting the paper in front of me on the desk

"you've probably gotten them mixed up, i-i can't be?" i begin to stutter as i feel Jude's arms on my shoulder

"these are your results love, you're about 5 weeks along" she says "would you like to do an ultrasound?"

"n-now?"

"if you want to, then yes"

i look at Jude

he nods at me and i walk over to the examining bed and lay down

she applies a cold gel over my stomach and begins to spread it around using some device

a picture appears on the small screen

"that's your baby" she says, pointing at a small blob

i look at Jude, who was clearly just as shocked as i am

we get into the car

"love, if you want to get an-"

"no Jude, i'm keeping it, i just feel a bit weird" i say, beginning to tear up

"why? Cee, you know i'll always be here for you no matter what happens"

"Jude i only lost mum a few days ago, and now i'm 20, having a whole ass child, how the hell am i going to finish uni"

"love, you're having the baby in September, i did the maths, you'll graduate normally in June"

i look at him "but were 20"

"hey, neither of us asked for this did we, but we have work it out, i love you Cee, i love you and the baby, i guess 20 isn't the ideal age for us to be having a kid, but we can do it together, i know it."

"you sure?"

"oh i know love"

"how was the doctors?" Denise smiles walking in, as i sit in bed, Jude sat next to me with his arm around my neck

i stay silent

"was it the flu?" she delicately asks

i shake my head

"so just a cold?" 

i shake my head again

"what is it then love?"

"Jude can say" i sniffle

she looks over at him

"s-she's pregnant" he stutters, scared to tell her

Denise looks at us in shock, then proceeds to hug me, and then Jude

"i know how responsible you two are, we all make mistakes, besides you'll be great parents" she smiles
