Sophie wouldn't give in, she would keep fighting, Fight for Keefe, fight through this for him. Sophie mentally chanted to herself.
She fought back tears as the knife dug into her forearm creating a familiar symbol.
"Well looks like the Moonlark finally earned her wings." The raspy voice mused in her ear making her shudder.
She heard another muffled scream from the other prisoner, this time she thought she heard some of the words, "DON'T YOU TOUCH-"
She heard a sickening slice and a pained grunt, "There... be quiet now.''The voice whispered. "Don't- hurt... her." The other prisoner panted.
"Mmm" He sucked in a sharp breath and clucked his tongue, "We'll see about that."
"You little-" The male prisoner started his voice pained.
