Ahmet was sick , he caught a cold . that's what the doctors said , he's been laying down since the doctor came to visit him and i didn't leave his side because he refused to eat his medecine , he would only take it from me so i was trying to get him to take it .

« Ahmet , come on . we don't have all day just say Aah and it's going to be over come on » i said holding the spoon right infront of his face but he refused , i've been trying to make him take his medecine for a long time .

My door opened and there was sumbul coming in with his face down , i put the spoon on the table and walked towards him .

« So ? » i said asking him trying to search for his eyes « sultana »he looked at me with a grin and i raised my eyebrow .

« His majesty has called you for dinner » i looked at him with a confused expression , wasn't he supposed to talk to her privately ?

It's not like i didn't like it , i liked it . i wanted her to know that he values me and that he doesn't hide anything from me , i had to make everything clear to her so she doesn't try to make a move .

He would've called Mihrimah too but she decided to leave the capital , she had gotten enough of stress and problems here so she moved away with her daughter and honestly i would've done the same thing . this palace
was not for weak people , you either survive or give up in the end

« You can go , and for these news sumbul i'll reward you .. »i looked over at the girl standing next to my drawers and she immediately understood ,she gave sumbul the bag full of coins .

« Thank you so much sultana i pray for your health » he said not taking his eyes off the bag and i couldn't help but smile , i turned to look at ahmet who was still sitting there looking at me and sumbul .

« Sumbul agha you interrupted me » ahmet said looking cutely annoyed and sumbul looked at me and bowed down to him .

« Your highness im sorry about that » sumbul looked at me and again and i chuckled « i order you to leave us alone » Ahmet crossed his arms and looked at the door .

Sumbul laughed and bowed down to both of us « as you wish your highness » he walked away and i found myself alone again with ahmet who didn't want to eat his medecine

« Ahmet come on , i don't have all day » i said going back to where i was sitting earlier , he still refused and i was growing more frustrated .

« Only in one condition » he replied still looking away from me and i was curious to know what he was going to propose .

« i want to go on a trip with you and my father » he looked at me with a wide smile and i knew that was impossible .

« Ahmet you know your dad is busy and he just got back from a campaign , i can go with you and your siblings but not with your father » i explained but he didn't like what i said so he had a dissapointed look in his face .

« But i want to why can't he go with us i wanna spend time with him » i looked at him as if he said the most obvious thing ever , but at the same time he was right . We never had the chance to travel all together once so this wasn't a very harmful idea

« I promise i will tell your father but it doesn't mean it's a yes , don't be dissapointed when i tell you no » he finally smiled and his smile was so contagious i couldn't help but smile too .

« i will drink it now » he said taking the spoon from my hand and took the medecine , i smiled and patted his head .

« So it took you the whole day to take your medecine? i put the medecine away and called one of the girls outside my door .

« Take prince ahmed to his room and make sure he takes his medecine before sleep » i immediately dismissed her and she accompanied ahmed too .

I got ready with the help of the girls , i was not about to attend this dinner looking basic . i had to add something that'd make me stand out even more

i glanced at my crown , it was the one hurrem sultan wore when she was live and selim had gifted it to me when i gave birth to ahmed .
