3rd Person POV

Silver stayed laid on the mattress, staring off into space, still horrified by everything so far, Balloon wasn't here so he was just alone for now.

Silver groaned and sat up, stretching out his arms, legs, and back, all making a popping sound. Silver looked around and hoped Balloon would return soon.

Then, Silver saw Bones run into the cave, buzzing loudly. Silver was startled and quickly got up and ran over to Bones. Silver noticed Balloon wasn't with him either.

"Bones?! Where's Balloon?!" Silver asked, a bit worried now. Bones buzzed and ran out the cave, and Silver followed behind, running out into the woods.

Soon, Bones stopped at a tree, and Silver looked down and saw Balloon sitting at the bottom of the tree, looking sick and in pain. Silver gasped and kneeled down to Balloons side.

"Balloon?! Are you okay?!" Silver asked, even though it was obvious he wasn't. Balloon coughed and looked up at Silver with weak eyes. "My... A- arm..." Balloon muttered out.

Silver looked at Balloons arm with the scratch on it, and lifted up Balloons sleeve, and saw the scratch, but it looked even worse! Balloons entire arm was purple and blue, and Balloon could barely move it too.

"G- Get me back to the cave... I- I know what to do..." Balloon said. Silver nodded and picked up Balloon in his arms and began running back to the cave, Bones running behind the two and buzzing.

Once back, Silver laid Balloon on the mattress, desperately wanting to save his life. Silver began to tear up again, Balloon was his only hope in this awful situation!

"Ok, what do I do?!" Silver shouted frantically. Balloon felt so weak, but was able to mutter out his words. "Th- Theres a bottle on one of the shelves... The one with the blue liquid... Put some of it on the scratch... O- Only a drop or two, though..."

Silver quickly got up and went to the shelves, and saw the bottle with the blue liquid and grabbed it. He went back over to Balloon who looked like he was about to pass out.

Silver git on his knees next to the mattress and opened the bottle and carefully dropped a little bit onto the scratch. Balloon hissed as the medicine stung him.

Balloon flinched as Silver dropped more. Silver put the bottle back and Balloons arm went back to normal, but the scratch remained.

Balloon sighed and covered his arm back up, Silver was still shaken up though. "What just happened?! How did that work?!" Silver asked frantically.

"Calm down calm down... I'll explain." Balloon sighed. "This happens every 4 days, my arm begins to hurt badly and turns that purple and blue color. That medicine is actually berry juice. I don't know what's up with the berries, but they're strange, and the reason I'm alive right now..." Balloon explained.

Silver was still horrified at everything happening right now. "How have you even survived this long..? You said you got scratched a day after being here... How have you managed..?" Silver asked, putting a hand on Balloons shoulder, which Balloon slightly flinches at.

"... Well... I dunno... Like I said the berries are why I'm alive..! I also eat them for food, which is the only food source I can find too. It's odd since I've been eating them for a month now and I haven't lost or gained weight either? This place is so weird... Especially with that endless void as the sky..."

Silver looked down, he didn't know what to feel anymore. "... Seriously, how have you not gone insane?" Silver asked. Balloon looked at the ground.

"I really don't know... but... I am very happy you're here now..." Balloon looked up at Silver and smiled. Silver looked at Balloons sweet smile and couldn't help but smile back, he felt something odd but brushed it off.

"Hold on, you must be hungry right now." Balloon then stood up and walked over to a basket of the berries. He picks up three berries, he throws one over to Bones who catches it in his mouth and eats it happily.

Balloon gave the 2nd berry to Silver. Silver takes the berry and looks at it, it fits perfectly in the palm of his hand. Balloon then eats the third berry for himself.

Silver looked at the berry and took a small bite, it was pretty juicy and tasted really good. "My... These are good..!" Silver said, eating the rest of the berry.

"That's good!" Balloon said, taking another berry and walking over to the bottle of medicine and squeezing the juice into the bottle. Silver really wanted another berry though, he was still a bit hungry.

"Uhm, can I have another berry?" Silver asked. Balloon took another berry and gave it to Silver. "There, just don't eat too many, ok? I need those for my medicine, and I still need to get more since I wasn't able to earlier since... You know..." Balloon said.

"Yeah yeah, well you're good now, right?" Silver asked. "Yeah, just remember, every 4 days... Alright?" Balloon said. "I'll remember, don't worry..." Silver responded

"I'll go back out tomorrow... I'm getting tired..." Balloon said, stretching his arms out. Silver nodded. "That's alright."

The two then just stayed in the cave for the rest of the day until it was dark. The forest was odd since it seemed to get bright outside and then dark again, but the sky had no moon, sun, or stars... and the sky was always pitch black. It was an odd world out there, and there was still so much to learn.
