Three Dixon's

Chapter 16:

I walk into the prison and notice everyone looking at me but the first one to hug me is Carl.

"Wait did you drink?" He asks
"We need to talk" I slurr
He looks at me confusingly but drags me towards our cell, closing the cell door and putting a privacy curtain.

"What did you do out there" he asks angrily
I giggle and kiss him but he pushes me away.
"Talk!" He yells
"I drank Vodka after having..." I stop
"Having what?" He asks
"Um..it's not important" I say
"It is to me?!" He shouts
"I almost got killed but the guy that came with me saved me and he happened to be my biggest crush so he asked if I wanted to you know..kiss him and I said yes" I say seeing the hurt in his eyes
I get up and reach for his hand but he moves away.
"You were dating me but you still kissed him!" Yells Carl
"Please...I'm sorry" I say grabbing his wrist
He yanks it away but I pull him into a hug, feeling him struggle.
"Please...I'm sorry" I whisper in his ear
"I promise I won't do it again" I add
"No..Hai-" I cut him off by kissing him deeply
I pull away and see tears glistening in his eyes
"I love you" I whisper snuggling my head to his neck
"I..love you too.." he says back
I can't help but smile at that, finally feeling myself come back.

"Hershel almost died today" whispers Carl
"Is he okay?" I ask
"My mom saved him" says Carl
"I need to thank her" I say walking outside and towards Lori.

She looks at me and smiles.
"I'm glad your Okay and that you found your friend" says Lori
"Thank you" I say to her as I hug her
"Why?" Lori asks confused
"For saving Hershel" I say
"Oh..it was nothing" says Lori running her hand down my hair
"You've always kind of been like a mom to me" I say finally letting go of her and smiling
She smiles at that.
"Aw thanks Hailey" says Lori kissing my forehead and walking outside.

Next day.

I'm near Carl and Lori outside as Hershel finally comes out with Beth behind him.

"Woo" I yell out with joy
"Finally!" Yells Carl
Hershel chuckles at that but my smile falls.
"WALKERS!!!!" I yell pointing behind me
Everyone turns around and notices them too.
"Run!" I yell as Carl, Lori and Maggie run into a part of the prison and Beth and Hershel try going back into their cell.

I run behind Maggie as we run through a hall.

That's when we see a herd infront of us and run into a room.

"Come on" I yell as Lori walks in and I slam the door.

I groan because my leg is sore.

"Are you okay?" Asks Carl
"Yea I'm fine but your mom doesn't look okay" I say pointing at Lori and walking towards her
"Are you okay?" I ask
"The baby's coming" she says holding on to a chain
"What!" I yell in shock
"Lori you need to push" says Maggie
"I'll try" says Lori as she starts pushing but she screams in pain and I notice the blood running down her legs.

"Somethings wrong.." I whisper feeling sick but keeping it in
"You have to cut me open" says Lori as she lays down
"What no!" I say
"Please" says Lori with pleading eyes
"No I ca-" lori cuts carl off
"Baby look at me, you will make it through this because your strong and so are you Hailey and please...protect the baby" says Lori
"No please Lori..don't. Your family to me..I can't loose you" I say as tears run down my eyes
"Hailey calm down.just take care of Carl" Lori says
I nod and turn away not wanting to see Lori die but I turn back around quickly and hug her.

"I love you" I whisper as I hug her tightly
"I love you too Hailey" says Lori hugging me back

I turn back around and look at the wall.

Then I hear carl and her say stuff to each other.

She then whispers
"Goodnight love" which hurts me more

Then I hear Lori scream loudly and feel something warm gush on my back.

I feel my self shudder and cry.

"Your killing her!!" Yells Carl
Then I hear a baby Cry
"Its a girl" says Maggie
"Let's go" says Maggie
"We can't leave her she'll turn" says Carl
Maggie's about to stab her but Carl interjects "I'll do it"
I nod and walk out of the cell when I hear the gunshot, closing the door behind me as everyone else comes through behind me.

I walk out and notice sunlight but I don't care, I fall to my knees and hit the ground with my fists, feeling lost at words.

"What's wrong?" Asks Rick
I shake my head as they hear a baby crying
"No..no" says Rick falling to the ground crying

Then I look around and notice notice t-dog nor Carol.

"Not them to.." I whisper

I cry loudly hearing people call for Rick.

I get up and walk towards Carl as he holds the baby.

"Let me see her" says Hershel
Carl walks over to Hershel as he looks at the baby.
"Good thing is, she looks healthy" says Hershel
"But she needs formula soon or she won't survive" adds Hershel
"Nope no way. Not her. We arent losing anyone else" says Daryl
"Ill go" says Maggie
"Me too" says Glenn

Daryl walks up to me
"Look after Carl, he just lost his mom and his dad's not doing so hot" says Daryl to me
"I'll look after him" I say nodding and walking over to Carl
"Glenn, maggie Vaminos" says Daryl
"Hurry up! We're loosing a life" yells Daryl running towards his car.

I take a deep breath and walk towards Carl, wrapping my arm around him.
