~ Sidney's POV~
I woke up to the feeling of bandages being removed then new ones being put back on. This was the most annoying thing i could possibly go through. It burned so badly every time they touched me, i just wanted to burst out in tears.
"Please Stop!" I finally shouted in pain. I just couldn't hold it in anymore. "Maybe if you'd quit moving so much it wouldn't hurt as bad." The nurse gave me a dirty look as she took the bandage off my arm. "What a bitch." I thought silently to myself.
Finally, after about an hour, they went away. I took some pain killers and laid down to relax.I got to thinking... I know Johnny's parents are abusive....so why would they want another kid in their lives? Maybe they've gotten a hold of their anger...i don't know but i'm very nervous to go live with them. I'm probably over thinking it, everything will be fine.
~3 Day's later~
I packed up my little belongings that i had gotten while i went to the little gift shop down stairs, Johnny's parents where coming to get me soon. I walked down stairs and started walking down the hallways. As I was walking, I saw a little girl in a wheel chair. She looked up at me and gave me a weak smile. She had cancer. I couldn't help but tear up, that poor little girl...
I finally made it to the hospital door where i saw Johnny. He was smiling and i looked beside him and Ponyboy was with him. He ran over and hugged me giving me a quick kiss. We walked to Johnny's parents car, they were both in there. Ponyboy opened the door for me and i jumped in.
"Hello...." "Sidney. My names Sidney" I smiled at Johnny's mother. She was actually really pretty. "Sidney, that's a pretty name." She gave me a crooked smile. "Thank you!" "Were going to just drop Ponyboy off and then take you home so we can get you settled in. Sound good?" "Yeah, that sounds great." I looked out the window, things were going to be great from now on...i can just feel it.
~Dropping Ponyboy off~
"Bye Ponyboy." Johnny waved at Pony giving him a little smile. "Bye Johnny, and bye Sidney." He leaned in an gave me a sweet goodbye kiss. I couldn't help but smile, Pony just so cute! When I looked over Johnny's mom was giving me a dirty look, but when she saw me looking at her she changed her facial expression to a smile.
~Finally at Johnny's house~
I got out and streghted out my legs. Not much, I mean i was only riding in the car for about 15 minutes. But i mean they did need to be stretched. I saw everyone walk inside so i followed. When we got inside the house i couldn't help but gasp. There was trash everywhere on the ground along with dirty dishes, dirty clothes, and broken things everywhere.
"What? You to good to be here?" Johnny's dad hissed at me.
OH no. Not again. Please...not again.
