Yes, another Eren story from yours truly. Yes, it is a character study, again. Yes, this also follows the canon Attack on Titan lore. Eren is me because I too am never free from him. You'd think I'd be sick of Eren by now, considering that this is my 3rd (technically 5th, if you count the ones I took down) publish about him, but alas, I am not. I've been nursing this fic in my drafts since the idea came to me in the summer of last year.
This is mostly a study about the way humanity recovered from the Rumbling, and most especially the cycle of war and violence in Attack on Titan. This will (hopefully) be a short story.
I have very loosely based this off the Studio Ghibli movie, When Marnie Was There 思い出のマーニー (dir. Hiromasa Yonebayashi), the book One Day by David Nicholls, and Anne of Green Gables by LM Montgomery. However, I consider the genre of this to be dark fantasy. With that, I suppose this also has the vibe of the Twilight movies without the reasons why Robert Pattinson hated them.
You meet with Eren over a series of events. The Reader's name will not be mentioned. If this has more than 12 chapters, I'll cry.
