isabella's pov
she was so different
her hair was back to the dark brown it was in junior year, it laid just below her shoulders
her body was fit, curved in the perfect places
and she wore more makeup
but not an overwhelming amount
she was still short but now she stood tall with confidence
"it's good to see you..." i say with a smile
"yeah...i guess"
i sigh and take a step forward
"jocelyn," before i could continue she stops me
"let's not" she shakes her head
"i miss you..."
she looks down at her feet
"isa, you're still with him"
"can we talk? just you and me out of this weird bar?"
"i don't know"
"please? after if you don't wanna see me again i'll leave. and i'll never come back"
her eyes lock with mine
my heartbeat speeds up
"okay" her voice a whisper,
i let out a breath i didn't know i was holding
relief shot through my body
"when?" she asks, now looking away from me
"after this?"
"okay," she nods and quickly leaves the bathroom
i smile and wait a little before heading back as well

"so jocelyn, tell me about yourself" charlotte speaks up
"mm i'd rather not" she smiled sarcastically before going back to her drink
charlotte didn't seem to take offense to this because she went on a rant about who knows what right after
once amaya got enough alcohol in her body she started talking with charlotte
and after sometime she was so drunk she went to play pool with her
now it's just me and jocelyn
there's no conversation
no eye contact
just drinking
"how's sienna?" i spoke up
"good"
i nod, "that's good"
it was back to uncomfortable silence
great
"how have you been?" she asked, this shocked me
"uhm i've been okay"
she nods and starts to fidget with her glass
"you?" i add on hoping the conversation kept going
