Death's POV
We have been inside the forest for almost an hour. Yes, we, since Firo is with me. I don't know what his problem is. He keeps talking nonsense like, please be careful; don't let them hurt you; I am worried about you, and many more. He's getting weirder every day.
"You're spacing out. Would you mind sharing that?" See? I told you.
Hindi ko alam anong trip niya at sa akin siya sumama. He doesn't mind about his team, dahil alam niya naman daw na kaya ng mga ito. I didn't bother to ask where they were. I simply don't care at all.
Hindi ako nagsalita. Nanatiling nakamasid ako sa paligid, making sure everyone will come out of this forest alive. Sana. My senses are now at 50% capacity, kaya alam ko kung ilang hininga ang nasa loob ng gubat na ito. 50% lang, saka ko na itodo kapag siya, sila na ang makakalaban ko.
Nawala ako sa focus when Firo suddenly held my hand making my heart want to come out of my chest. What the fuck is his problem?
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"Wala," He answered, and then let go of my hand.
I was about to say something when a loud explosion was heard. Different kinds of species are now awake and ready to wreak havoc.
"Demy, where are you?" I heard Mia's voice inside my head.
"I'm supposed to be the one asking you that. Where is Kris?"
"I'm here. I'm with Dave." Oh, I see.
"Be extra careful; enemies are just lurking around the corner waiting to attack their most precious prey." Double meaning ang pagkakasabi ko, depende nalang sa kanila kung makuha nila.
"We'll see each other at the center," I said.
"Who are you talking to? Kanina pa nakakunot yang noo mo," He said, sabay pitik ng noo ko. Laki ng problema ng lalaking to.
"Mind your business mister," I stated and started walking.
I know all of us inside this forest are going to the center. Naririnig ko ang mga yapak nila at nasa iisang direksyon lang ito papunta. Hindi talaga makapaghintay ang mga kampon niya tsk.
"Ezekiel." I called him. Napatingin naman siya sa akin at nakataas ang kilay. So gay.
"What?"
"I'm going west; you go east. Let's meet at the center. Mind your surroundings; enemies are everywhere." There are a lot of dark armies inside. Basically, they can vanish into thin air, kaya hindi sila napapansin ng iba, but not me.
"Yes, baby," He said, and he winked at me. Ang cringe.
Instead of minding him, tinalikuran ko nalang siya.
I walked as if I were a ghost. Walang tunog ang mga yapak ko na akala mo'y naka lutang. This is one of my abilities. I can even walk on the sea's surface.
I stop midway when I notice a silhouette.
"How are you?" He asks.
"I'm good. I'm supposed to be the one asking you that," I replied. He smiled, a genuine one.
"Eto, lumalaban kahit papano. Wala eh, kelangan." I know.
"He'll kill you if he knows that you're talking to me."
"I know; don't worry, I'm invisible." I also know that. Besides, I put a magnetic barrier around us so that they would not hear anything.
"How's your sister?"
"She was under his spell. I can't do anything to dispel it, but I know someone who can." He smiled at me again. Tsk, this idiot.
"How about her? Did you tell her?" Mas mabuting sa kanya mangagaling.
"Nope. You know that I like her. No, I love her. Pero baka wala na akong chance mabuhay pagkatapos ng laban, so hindi ko sinabi sa kanya."
"Stupid."
"Alam ko. Pero yun lang ang tanging paraan."
This person in front of me is serving him, the Dark King. But it doesn't mean he's a bad guy. It just happens that his sister was captured and is now under the dark king's spell.
"Just make sure hindi ka magiging sagabal sa plano ko, baka ako pa mismo papatay sayo." I won't hesitate to cut his neck, if ever.

Mia and Kris are now in front of me. And, oh, Clarence as well.
"Yeah."
"Grabe, may bayad ba magsalita?" Tsk.
"Look," Clarence said, pointing at the center where the explosion happened.
Kanina pagdating ko puro alikabok ang nandyan kaya hindi ko makita ang loob. I didn't use my ability to see through things, kasi tinatamad ako.
Familiar faces and creatures came out. Well, I think it's time for a thrilling party.
"I don't like that smirk, Demy," Mia said, now summoning her weapon.
"Kasama pa ba sa battle for greatness to?"
"Tanga ka ba Rence? Malamang hindi. Kita mong kampon ng Dark King ang mga yan eh."
"Sorry naman, nagtatanong lang naman ako."
"Ewan ko sayo."
"Uhm, guys, pwede mamaya na yang love quarrel niyo? Mukhang mapapalaban tayo," Kris said as she cut through these two monkeys' conversation.
Iniwan ko na sila dun at naghanap ng magandang pwesto. I won't help them unless needed. I will observe everyone's movement from up here.
