PoV: Asta

It was a nice sunny afternoon and we had a day of so I spend my day in the capital city. I was alone because the others all wanted to other things, Gauche wantet to visit Mari, Vanessa, Yami and Finrall are somewhere drinking a beer, Noelle,Sacre and Grey went shopping some clothes, Zora, Luck and Magna were training and Henry, Charmy and Gordon stayed at home. It was really crowded and I didn't really know what to do, I just enjoyed my walk trough the city, until someone put a hand my shoulder and I jumped out of my skin and tuned around. "Who in the hack is scaring me lik-", I stopped talking when I saw him. The cold green-blue eyes which looked down on me. "Damnatio...", I said really quiet. I was very surprised to see him out here. "Would you mind following me?", he asked emotionless. I slowly nod and walked behind him. After a few minutes we reached a tall building I think it was the parliament building. Does he want to bring me in front of this nobles again? "Don't worry I just wanna have a talk with you. So come in." In his office he pointed to an empty chair and said I should sit down. I did what he said and so he sat in front of me an started talking: "You defeated the dark traid, good work I guess. But still..there has to be a punishment. I'm gonna start from the beginning. You are a magicless orphan, you got a five leave grimoure in which a devil lives in. Two times you was short before losing control and in the end you made a deal with the devil,, which is also your step brother. But you helped defeating Zagred, Conrad and the dark traid you saved a lot of lives. Did I forget anything?", he asked. I shaked my head.
"A lot of magic knight were involved in the thing with Zagred for example Mari and Gauche Adlei, Luck Voltia or also some Capitans like Charlotte or Rill. And also Nero or Sacre Swallowtail is included. The Plan was to execute all of the ones who were involved but in my eyes it makes no sense to kill so many people. I've got a suggestion for you. Would you rather let all of them execute or beeing the black sheep who cares all of the sins? I think you would rather take option b right? So my suggestion is now if you are ready for that you will be the sinner for everyone and you are the only one who dies but you won't die right away you will have a few weeks left to enjoy these last times as thank for saving us all. What you say?" 

I didn't know what to say..
Of course I don't want my family and friends death but I don't wanna die either. I felt like I was stuck in rabbit hole now. My body began shaking and I got a rush goosebumps. Damnatio looked at me waiting for an answer.

"And you won't execute anyone more?", I asked.

"That wouldn't be fair and I'm the symbol of justice.", he answerd strict.

"How much time do I have left?"

"4 weeks, so you will be executed on the 31. December, so to new year"

I couldn't believe what he just said. But I think I understood why..

"Alright..."

"Good we see again at the end of the year you can leave now. Thanks for taking the time."

So I left and went home.
