Elvis is having a hard time being a single father, working and helping out his parents. When he gets a break for a life of luxury, will he accept it or continue with the lifestyle he's so used to?
About two days after Elvis came back from Florida, Jack was able to come home from the hospital which was a big relief. He had gone to the hospital to pick up his boy with Gladys accompanying him. It was fair to say that Jack was over the moon to be heading home with his folks. Upon arriving at the mansion, Jack raced downstairs to the basement to watch tv and get comfortable on the couch which Elvis wasn't too happy about since Tilly had been waiting in the living room to see her brother as well as Vernon and Dodger
"Get over here, boy!" Elvis glared down at the sulking six year old as he cautiously made his way to the living room after being called upstairs
Jack yelped and shot backwards at being smacked on the bottom for his rude behavior towards his family. "Don't do that shit again! They've been waiting to see you since you were in the hospital, don't be a jackass! Understand me?"
The child quickly nodded while looking down at the floor, hurrying past Elvis to Dodger who he hugged
"It's alright, sugar. Your daddy wants you to understand manners and treating people right." Dodger explained to her grandson who had warm tears rolling down his cheeks
Elvis felt bad for disciplining his son and retreated upstairs to his bedroom to get away from his family. He never liked to be a tough parent but sometimes he had to be because his children didn't have a mother figure so he'd have to be the laid back or stern parent. It's the only way the twins would learn. He was browsing through his record collection when the door to his room creaked open, a pair of small blue eyes peering in
"Dad?" Jack spoke quietly
"Yes?" Elvis decided on a Doris Day vinyl and brought it over to the record player in the right hand corner by his walk-in closet
"I- I'm uh...I- I'm sorry about my behavior earlier. I was just excited to be home." Jack didn't dare step foot into his father's room after being spanked
"It's ok, no one's perfect." Elvis approached the young kid, opening the door wider and gesturing for him to come inside
"I uh...grandma said I could help her make a caramel cake..." And with that, Jack turned on his heel and made a mad dash for the secret staircase to the kitchen
It was a hot evening at the Lyric Theater with a sold out audience, Elvis putting on a show with Scotty and Bill since he had been itching to get back out on the road and sing again after not doing it in so long with his deployment, recording, filming and helping with the kids
"I'm gonna stick like glue, stick because I'm...stuck on you." The twenty five year old's voice carried through the tremendous crowd of screaming girls as they watched the concert with more than enough interest, making grabby hands at the entertainer in hopes of getting a souvenir from the night like a piece of clothing
The sweat beading on his handsome face, the twitchy though more controlled body movements, not showing any signs of exhaustion as he pushed himself through the performance. He could've sworn that he saw flashes of light whenever he blinked though didn't think too much of it as far as being concerned
The show ended early since the crowd of girls surrounding the stage were getting a bit too wild like they were in a feeding frenzy and some people had gotten hurt while trying to grab at the young singer, Elvis throwing his guitar pick out into the crowd after wishing everyone a good night, exiting stage left as the curtains came down
"When's our next show?"
"Tomorrow in Louisiana."
"And the day after that?"
"Louisville and then we're heading to Nashville." Scotty walked alongside Elvis to their dressing room to gather up their belongings before hitting the road. Elvis had asked his mother to come to one of his shows but she told her son that there were too many chores to be done at Graceland, not telling him the real reason of not feeling well as of late since she didn't want him to worry or be stressed

Jack and his sister were chasing each other around the house like the energetic youngsters they were, stopping when Elvis came downstairs to see what all the commotion was
"Going somewhere, dad?" Jack noticed how his father had spruced himself up a bit for the evening and catching a whiff of his Brut cologne that he had been wearing lately whenever he'd go out in public or to attract any interested single women
"Yes, I'm going to be heading out shortly. I'm going downtown to the Memphian so I won't be too far from home." He checked the time on his watch and saw he still had a bit of time to kill, standing up and leading his daughter and son to the living room. He picked up a thick photo album that was on one of the end tables and placed it on his lap as he sat down before opening it, Tilly and Jack joining him
"Here, I have some photos to show you in this album your grandma had put together."
