Arden was in his room, the doctor checks Zohe's condition he informed Arden that everything was fine now. She needed rest as she is just weak. Arden nodded, and after the doctor left,

Arden's POV:

Approaching her, I felt a surge of anger towards Raen for hurting her. She's mine, and no one has the right to touch her. I don't understand this feeling, but it's clear that I'm deeply affected when she's in pain. I felt a sense of desperation at the thought of losing her.

Arden sat by her side next morning Zohe woke up and saw Arden, she felt bad for being such a burden to him she just sighs and decides not to think about anything and tries to just be calm as Arden told her to, Zohe was just laying when suddenly Arden wakes up

Arden looks at her and asks if she is ok

Zohe Replied "Where are we, and who are you?"

Arden eyes wider in shock "Love, did you forget?"

Zohe raises her eyebrows "Who's love?"

"Did you forget me? "Arden worriedly considered calling the doctor.

Zohe laughed, "Sorry, I was just joking."

Arden gets angry and replies "Here I am, worried sick about you, and you did you forget what happened last night???..."

Zohe mumbled Sorry.

Arden sighs and mocks himself why he even brings the past night memories, he says "It's okay. Now tell me how you ended up locked up with him."

Zohe hesitated, about to break down but she tried to not show her pain

Arden hugs her "Don't worry; I'll teach that idiot a lesson, and he will pay for it. And don't try to be strong in front of me, be strong in front of others ,only I can see your weak side"

Zohe smiled a little, although it seemed painful.

Arden noticed her silence and urged her to share everything about her connection with Raen, questioning why she didn't talk to her dad and attend his funeral. Arden was just curious to know

Zohe gets confused "Dad's funeral? Are you mad? My dad is alive."

Arden confused "No, your dad died four months before our marriage."

Zohe was shocked "Are you sure? How can that...?" Tears started forming in her eyes

Arden nodded.
Zohe replied with tears "it's just i stop talking to him because I was angry how he destroyed my life by getting me married to the person he wants"

Arden hugged her, realizing she didn't know about her dad's death.

Arden sighs "Love, leave the past. I'm always with you. Now, tell me about your past with Raen and how it's related to your dad."

Zohe was crying hard, not focusing on his words, sinking into depression. Someone knocked on the door.
