"Your Highness" smiled Jung Hoseok, clapping his hands to make some servants pick up the previous King's body.
"Your father is on his way here, there's no need for you to send the head to Evrail" smiled the man with his head slightly bowed.
"You seem to be enjoying this quite a lot" commented the prince, biting his tongue.
"Ask someone to sew his head back to his body, he'll have a proper funeral along with his wife" ordered Jeongguk.
The men of Aragail and Evrail stared at the young prince with shock written on their faces, their tongues itching to question him yet no one was brave enough to do so.
"With all due respect Sire, you should not go against your father's wo-" Hoseok's breath was stuck in his throat when Jeongguk's sharp sword was inches away from it.
"One more word and you shall suffer the same fate as him" threatened he, lowering his sword, he approached the throne and sat on it.
"Until my father arrives, you are to take my commands and anyone who believes otherwise should step forward, if not then sew the head back to it's body and prepare for the funeral" exclaimed he, his voice loud and clear for every soul to imprint his voice in their brains.

"What's happening outside?" asked Taehyung timidly, staring down at his lap.
He had been silently crying for the past hour and Jungkook did not stop him because there was no point in stoping him, it was better to let everything out, especially when the older prince understood that it was just going to get harder for the lil' prince after learning about his parents death.
Before Jungkook could answer, the door opened to reveal the older twin, approaching the two.
"It's going to take at least another 30 minutes for things to settle down" explained Jeongguk his younger brother, handing him the sword he had left in the room from which he picked up Taehyung.
Jungkook pushed it back towards the older twin with misery glistening in his eyes, not wanting to see that cursed thing anymore.
The lil' prince stared between the two, puffy eyes widened in curiosity which immediately settled on the table upon coming in contact with the sharp eyes of Jeongguk's.
"Can I see my parents now?" asked he with his voice trembling, scared of the two strangers.
"No, you can not" replied Jeongguk instead of Jungkook.
"Why not?" asked the lil' prince, eyes already filled with thick tears.
"There's some trouble outside at the moment, you can see them in a little while. Don't cry please, you don't want them to see you like this, right?" tried to reason Jungkook gently, approaching him before cupping his face. His own heart ached seeing his mate in this condition and the feeling worsened when the latter nodded innocently, believing his words.
On the other hand, Jeongguk didn't understand the reason behind this sugarcoating, wouldn't it better to tell him the truth? To prepare him for the worse? Though he stayed quiet, letting his brother handle the situation.
A knock on the door interrupted their chain of thoughts. Jeongguk allowed whoever it was to entre. Jung Hoseok frowned upon seeing the small child sitting next to the prince but he recognised the badge on the child's shirt.
