ARI'S POV

"Bye Matt." I sighed into his chest.

"Are you sure you don't want to come stay with me?" His voice almost in a whine, pulling away.

"Matthew, I'm pretty sure living on campus with your friends isn't really suitable." I chuckled.

"Well neither is living with six guys." He murmured, his eyebrows furrowed. I heard a cough form behind me, and Harry was standing there awkwardly.

"Harry'll take good care of me I promise." I grinned, holding out my pinkie.

"Hm." He grunted, but stuck out his finger anyway, halfheartedly doing our childish handshake.

"Stay safe." I embraced him again, my left hand gripped around his scarred wrist.

"I will. Love you Ari." He gripped my shoulders and kissed my forehead, then picked up his bag.

"Harry, can you come outside with me a moment?" He tilted his head in the direction of the door.

"Oh, um sure." Harry bit his lip, and took a few steps closer. I rolled my eyes, Matt of course would want to embarrass me.

"Bye, call me when you get home!" I called after Matt, who smiled and waved at me. The door slammed shut behind the two of them, and I sat and waited on the stairs. I hated when Matthew would do this, every time any boy would show any interest in me at all, he would pull them aside and do I don't even know what, he would never tell me. But no matter how many times I told him Harry and I were just friends, he wouldn't listen. It's been a really long time, and all Harry as done is be friendly. If he really did want something more, he would've done something by now.

Another couple of minutes later, Harry came back in looking very flustered, and a little pale.

"Harry, oh my God, what happened?" I jumped up and ran over to him.

"Oh, nothing he just said goodbye." He nervously laughed, and tried to get around me.

I gave him a look, my hands on my hips.

"Really, nothing important." He bit his lip, which he seemed to do very often.

"Are you sure you're okay?" I said a little calmer, my hands finding their way to his chest.

"Mhm." He gulped, and gave me a weak smile.

"Okay." I glumly replied, than let him through. This was what I hated, Matt would scare them off, even if there really wasn't anything going on. I pulled out my phone, and started to type a message to him.

'Thanks a lot Harry looks like he's seen a ghost!

-Ari'

Shoving my phone back into my jeans, I wandered into the kitchen. The stove told me it was 2:35pm  . I still hadn't eaten anything though, and I was too lazy to get out of my sweats to go out.

"Harreh do you want to order in?" I yell/groaned, which I was actually very good at.

"Ya sure." He appeared behind me, making me jump. "oh, sorry." He smirked, his Cheshire accent sticking out especially. "Chinese good?" He added.

I eagerly nodded.

"Let's do something fun!" I grinned, walking behind him and jumping on his back.

"Like what love?" He had cheered up from earlier.

"I don't know, let's ask Lou." I shrugged. I pointed forward, and we laughed and talked a bit as he ran up the stairs.

"This is rubbish! Ed you're cheating!" I heard Zayn yell.
