chapter twenty-five

okay so ik i said they were sophomores which they r but i think like the birthdays and stuff work diff in diff states and countries so im just gonna go through like a run through of their ages and birthdays and stuff

ALSO ik georg is 2 years older than the twins but ive decided to make it so he was born in the same year as gustav idk why i just like it when theyre close in age, now him and gustav can be in the same school year which is one above the twins

also decided to make luna older just because of her relationship with marcus (i forgot how old marcus was when i started with them and i was looking back at it realising how weird it was😭, so shes now born between gustav and georg

i know at the start i had all of them in the same class, but let's just say that was homeroom/form because i know in some schools they have a mixture of different grades for that lol

ANYWAY so you guys know gustav and georg's bdays, lunas bday is june 11th 1988

crimsons is october 9th 1989

marcus' is august 25th 1986

felix's is april 3rd 1990 (yes crimson is an older girlfriend and yes she is proud #cougar)

so crimson, the twins, felix (and probably most other extra ocs i mention in this) r all sophmores

luna, georg and gustav are juniors

marcus left high school a year ago

so the parties that they go to are like a mix of sophmores and juniors lol

ALSO crimson and felix have been together for a month

After a horrendous game of beer pong, having to watch Felix's hands on Crimson's hips as he whispered in her ear, smiling into her neck, Tom walked out to the back garden. Bill quickly noticed the absence of his twin and found him.

"Tom," he said. Tom said nothing, just looking up at him. "Enough, okay?"

"What?"

"Enough getting upset about Crimson. I know it's sad, and I know how hard it is seeing her with Felix, but we're sixteen! Hell, I'm pretty sure Felix is fifteen."

"Baby."

"He's a couple months younger than us, Tom. I know it really hurts to see, but did you see how happy she was? She was smiling, laughing."

"I don't need to relive it."

"But have you ever seen her like that?"

"No, I guess not. Especially not since the whole Ben thing. But I think that's what made me like her. Not the situation, but how close we got after that. I wanted to be the one to heal her, to make her smile that widely despite everything that's happened."

"I know, I know. But someone else is doing that for her, and you can't get mad about that be sure if your own selfish desires."

"When did you become a therapist?"

"I'm a twin, I have to be a therapist. You want a hug?"

"Yeah, a hug would be nice."

Bill embraced his brother, giving him an encouraging pat on the back. Tom wasn't the player everyone thought he was. Yeah, his body count was a little higher than most, but it wasn't as high as people said it was, it certainly wasn't a concerning number. He didn't just like girls for sex. He'd had crushes before, he'd been rejected before, but none of them ever hurt as bad as this one had.

Maybe it was because Crimson was his best friend, so he had to see her every day, every day with him attached to her hip like some sort of leech, sucking every unique aspect out of her and slowly turning her into something she wasn't, something he wanted her to be.

Tom wouldn't change the real Crimson for the world. She had her own style, which certainly worked well for him considered just how hot it was. Those red and black streaks in her hair made her instantly recognisable in any crowd. Whenever they'd begin to show the slightly sign of fading, she's redye them instantly. Not this time, though. They were fading now, and she was doing nothing about it. That was the first change Tom noticed after she got with Felix.

Her style, too. As much as she was still edgy, different, she was slowly but surely becoming more conservative, more Felix. Everyone said it wasn't her maturing, but Tom didn't buy it for a second.

Then her personality. She wasn't as fun. Again, everyone put it down to her maturing, but who the hell matures at sixteen? They'd always go to the bar, now she'd only come about one out of four times the group invited her. She barely ever made appearances at their basement get togethers. She was always busy studying with Felix.

He'd changed her. He'd took away her style, her flare, her fun, her uniqueness, and everyone had just convinced themselves it was her doing it off her own accord. Hell, even Crimson had convinced herself.

But Tom knew her better than anyone, and he didn't know how long he could stand these changes.
