Chapter 19.

—Iseul's Pov

"Han Minjae is holding a grand party on Wednesday" Heeseung says, leaning back on his chair. I look at him in confusion telling him to continue through my eyes. He sighs, placing his hands on table and leaning towards the table once again. His aura screaming that he is about to give us a plan.

"All the big business men will be there,the reason why I am telling y'all all of this is" He pauses for a moment before inhaling deeply. His pupils darts away from me to the front

"Lim Jihoon, one of the big business man of the country is collaborating with Han Minjae but the thing is he is not actually collaborating with him but he will be helping us" Upon hearing his words all of us look at each other not getting what Heeseung is trying to say.

"As Iseul said Han Minjae uses a different laptop in his office and different outside,so we have to get his that laptop.I am hundred percent sure he has something in it,that we can use against him" He says. It's true whenever i went to his office in home he was always using different one but different one outside the home.I didn't know this information could be useful. Heeseung is a genius

"But how are we going to get that?" I ask as he smirks slightly before wetting his lips with his tongue eyes shooting Jungwon a kind of look.

"Jungwon! you will be the fake son of Lim Jihoon." I squint my eyes at him and look at Jungwon who is looking equally confused as me.

"As i said Lim Jihoon will be collaborating with and Han Minjae doesn't know if Lim Jihoon has a son or not so in that party Jungwon will go with Lim Jihoon as his son and after that Minjae will take them home for a meeting, that's when Jungwon will start on his plan,i will tell the rest on that day" My mouth fall agape at his plan.

"But how do you know he has all the information in that and why would he keep that with him?" I ask because if he has all the records in that laptop then why is he keeping that with him?

"I know, but I am pretty sure he has his ongoing illegal dealings files there, remember a criminal always leaves something behind,that laptop will be useful to us,we have to collect as much as we can against him as he is not an easy target" He sighs

"I am ready to do that" Jungwon suddenly says making my head snap towards his direction. I don't want anything to happen to him if something happens to him as well I don't think i will be able to recover. He smiles at me noticing my worried face and shakes his head lightly.

"Ok so on Wednesday you will be going with Lim Jihoon ok" Heeseung says as Jungwon nods at him.Just be safe Jungwon.

"Meeting dismissed" Heeseung says as all of stand up from our seats. I look at Jungwon and motion him to follow me as he nods following me right after.

"What's it?" He asks as I start the lift pressing the first floor where building cafeteria is.

"Jungwon I don't want you to get hurt" I don't want to beat around the bush I just wanna be straightforward and honest with him. I really don't want anything to happen to him at all. But all he does in return is gives me a smirk.

"Why?are you worried about me darling?" He leans closer as i take a step back. One step closer. Another step back, until my back hit the wall of the lift. Why i am not stopping him.Something about him screams domination and i am gladly letting him take over.

"Jungwon I-" He puts his finger on my lips hushing me as he leans more closer. "Nothing will happen to me darling" The nickname rolls off his tongue so smoothly leaving me with a racing heart. It all feels so forbidden. I shouldn't let him do that but I'm feeling numb.

"Trust me, nothing will happen.I won't let him do anything" He whispers as he puts both of his hands on the wall caging my figure. Why this lift is taking so long.

Suddenly the door of the lift ding open making me push Jungwon a little hard making him stumble a little.I look at the woman in front of us with flushed cheeks as she stares at us weirdly. I quick rush out of their leaving Jungwon behind as i hear him chuckles.

"Hey you look so cute blushing like that" He laughs as we sit on the the chairs after ordering iced Americano for both of us.I roll my eyes at him as he laughs more.

"Jungwon i am actually serious" I say sighing deeply.His face becomes serious as he places his hand on top of mine slightly caressing it with his thumb giving me sense of warmth i was seeking since the day starts.

"So you should trust me,i will put my everything to bring that man down" I just nod looking down at his words.I trust him,i really do.But the fear is still here.Its been 5 days since my mom's death and i miss her everyday like crazy.I promised to go back to her and save her from that man.But i failed,i was late.Han Minjae won. No one can describe the agony I'm going through because the guilt keep coming. And now I don't want anything to happen to anyone because of him.I will not be able go live peacefully.

"Here drink this" He says giving me coffee the waiter just placed on the table.Everyone is trying their best to keep me happy.They are practically my family right now as i have none and I can't even meet Ara because of safety purposes.Losing any of them would be a very big deal for me.

"Just know that I won't let anything happen to you, that's my promise" He whispers softly making my heart race. Isn't crazy how because of my own dad I'm fearing that if anyone comes close to me they will get hurt. Aren't Dads suppose to be the comfort and safe place for their daughters?But i will make him kneel in front of me and make him beg for his death.And I don't care what anyone thinks now.I don't care if i am his daughter.
